A good way to reinforce "Vias" or wire sockets on circuit boards is with reinforced plastic. As for crimping these, I do not own a tool, but drill a light press fit hole, tap them in, and then set the PCB board on a solid surface to secure If I have to use a nail-shaped tool, I use the nail-shaped tool You can set a ball bearing on it and lightly press it down with an arbor press or use a punch to expand the rim a bit. When I repair holes on PC boards that are already populated, I insert a rivet and solder a copper wire ring around it. I have to be careful that the rivets are not copper, but brass or brass plated. There are two heads on each of these. In addition to being 9mm in diameter, they are too small to be used through a through hole Hole plating for standard pin headers with 2 holes. There are 54mm spacing between each mm.

This is excellent! If you're going to do rivets, these are great! Rives generally are more labor intensive than you'd think, but these are great for rivets
