40 chain. I'm not sure what kind of chain is on your bike. On a lawnmower, I used it. You must determine the size of your bicycle chain. These are available in a variety of sizes.

Selected User Reviews For Koch Industries 7540040 Roller Chain Connector Link, 40, Dark Grey
For a driveway gate, I combined this with a 40 Stainless Steel Roller Chain from General. The stainless roller chain was also satisfactory, but each 10 foot package of chain only included one connector link. Roller chains, as you can easily confirm by doing a thought experiment or actually trying it, need to be fastened to both ends of the gate in order to work properly. Otherwise, you'll have to deal with the "pushing on a chain" issue. br>br>Once one pin from the stainless roller chain was removed, the link fit perfectly and was simple to install. It's worth noting that the pins in stainless chain are also stainless steel, making them more difficult to remove than those in regular steel. A hammer, a punch, and a hex nut are all necessary tools for doing this in the field. 2. Place the nut on something solid. Place the chain on top of the nut, and the pin you want to remove should be placed over the nut's hole. Set the punch against the pin that needs to be removed and hammer it. Expect quality chain to take a long time to come out, perhaps 2 minutes if you're careful. 5. You might have a pin that isn't completely out but can't be pushed out with a punch. Then, from the other side, remove it with pliers.
Last winter, while using my snow blower, I came across a couple rocks that I wish I hadn't, and as a result, my snow blower's drive chain was broken. I could have purchased a $50 replacement from the dealer or built one myself using Koch parts. I went with the latter option. I haven't had a problem with my drive chain since then, and I still have spare parts in case I need them. These roller chain connector links are simple to use and extremely durable. Get your hands on a few! It'll only be a matter of time before you need a new connector if you have a 40 chain.
Sturdy.
Simple to install and a high-quality part for relinking the chain, the measurements were identical to those of the standard chain that came with our chopper.
This is the perfect opener for me.
Cost-effective This is a fantastic deal, but only if you have a chain of this size.
