The size "41" chain is narrower than the size "40" chain. A sprocket designed for 40 chain will not fit a 41 chain. A sprocket with 40 chains will be too wide for a sprocket with 41 chains.

There are two master links on this 10' 40 chain. The master links are inside little bags inside the larger one with the chain, so just when you think they only sent you one, look inside the big bag again and you'll likely find the other master link stuck due to the oil. br>br>I used part cleaner to remove some of the oil, but small sludge-like particles remained. as if there was a smattering of debris in between the links It doesn't appear to have any effect on the chain's performance, so it's fine by me. Overall, it's a chain that will do the job. br>br> If your sprockets are around 1/4 in, this chain is likely to be more suitable than a 40 chain, as the 40 is about 1/16 wider.
Each box has only one connecting link, not two as the title suggests. I tried to find the seller's contact information to email, but it only took me back to the beginning. So, Seller, I apologize for the negative review; however, I have been unable to contact you to inform you that each box only has one connection link. If you could send me two more links, that would be great. br>br>Aside from that, the chain appears to be sturdy and well greased.
It's possible that it'll be difficult to locate in the box. The necklace is appealing. I've gotten a lot of these flat packs of Chinese chain, and the master link is usually attached to one end. The master link was disassembled and taped near the package's edge, giving the impression that it was missing at first. It was also packed in black grease, not a light coating of a non-sticky substance like the others I've received. I am accustomed to a staining clear waxy grease. My gate is in a dusty area, and the grease will only attract dust. br>br>Both of these are minor gripes, so I'll give it four stars.
This chain can be found on a number of go-karts that have a six-speed transmission. Adults riding 5 hp engines with little regard for the machines' longevity. They've been driven through mud, dust, dirt, rocks, trees (inadvertently), trails, and asphalt, and the chain and links have yet to break. I try to clean and lubricate them, but I'm sure I should do it more frequently than I do. If this chain can carry a 200-pound adult up a hill in a 30-year-old go-kart without breaking or requiring proper maintenance for more than a summer, it's a winner. I give it a perfect score of 5 stars. I make a living working on automobiles, and this chain has withstood a lot of abuse.
This chain was purchased for use on a motorized bicycle, and it is clearly superior to those used on motorized bicycles. It's extremely meaty and comes pre-greased in a bag. It was fantastic that the grease was so thick. I've put this chain through hell and back, and it's still going strong after all these years. It cost about a third of the price of a motorized bike chain, but it could handle twice the load. Finally, because it's ten feet long, I was able to make two bike chains out of it.
This was purchased for use in a go-kart and arrived well packaged and lubricated. Despite using a high-quality chain breaker tool, I had trouble getting it to the right length. The side plates of the links appeared to bend as the tool pressed the pins out, indicating that their strength was questionable. I was finally able to put together the proper chain, but I doubt it will hold up for very long. This chain feels like a light weight, cheap Chinese knockoff when compared to the chain sold at Tractor Supply. which is the case. Next time, I'll spend a little more and get something of better quality.
This chain is NOT made in America, so there's a little bit of misinformation there. So I'm not sure what the quality level is, because a lot of stuff made in China is junk.
I've tried a few of the Amazon brands and this one is the best value. On go-karts, I use a chain. Go-karts, drift trikes, and other high-powered motorized toys This is extremely durable. I've also used Jermeywell 35, and it's a fantastic product.
