We'll see if you have a grinder or an angle grinder. If you do, you can do it, so yes, you'll need a tool and a master link of that size.
I'm not sure what the difference is, but it should use the same sprockets.

too big. This chain is marked as 40 series on the links, but the roller width is enormous in comparison to the other 410 and 420 chains I have, and it rubs the backing plate of my torque converter no matter how perfectly I align the sprockets. I'd recommend this chain for industrial use or if you're using a regular clutch and don't need to run the chain through any tight spaces.
The Stars and Stripes in the advertisement implied that it was made in the United States, but it didn't say so. But I chose that seller to show my support for "Made in the USA. " It was created by a Chinese firm. In any case, I cut it and installed it on my equipment, but I have yet to test it. It'll be put through its paces. The only way to find out is to wait. br>Apart from that, the seller provided excellent service.
The sprockets on our mini bike are size 40, and the chain is size 41. When I tried to run the 41 chain through it, the master link would snap off or the chain would pop and creek. br>I purchased this 40 chain and was blown away by how well it was constructed. The 41 that came with our sprockets was much heavier, thicker, and wider. Since its installation, the chain has performed admirably and we have had no problems. Perfect.
This chain fits my snowblower and works just as well as the original chain, except that the original chain had many links frozen with rust. br>The chain comes with a chain link, and I was able to get two sets of 5 feet for my 1959 snowblower. br>I can't comment on durability, but based on the construction, I believe it will last as long as the original.
For half the price of a two-stage wheel horse chain, I got twice the length.
I couldn't find a master link, but I do have a few others. The chain appears to be of good quality and will fulfill its intended function. It was incredible how far the old chains had stretched (worn). But I could never get rid of even a half-link. The mower will sound and respond differently as a result of this. The chain was delivered on time, and the packaging was in good condition.
The proportions are excellent. There appear to be no issues at all, and it appears to be a good old chain.
