It's better than the Kohler OEM

These Stens gaskets are a little less expensive and are made of a more durable composite material. They're better than the Kohler gasket, in my opinion.

The oil leak has been stopped

It was a perfect fit for my engine. br>When torqueing the bolts, be careful. Tighten them up but don't crush the gasket or you'll end up with a new leak.

This gasket was installed and torqued according to the manufacturer's instructions. The gasket ruptured, allowing more oil to escape. Buy the Kohl's upgraded valve cover and gasket with the extra metal support and save yourself some money.

Don't overtighten; it's a delicate situation. It will work, but it is not as well made as the OEM gasket from Kohler, which is not expensive; I will be purchasing the OEM gasket from now on, but if you do choose this one, I recommend purchasing two so you have an extra on hand.
