The blade is tightly held in place and little pressure was required to apply. It lined up correctly with the bolts going through it. The information I needed was right there for me. It's my hope that I won't have to get another adapter from this source, but if something breaks again, I'll get one from there.

I installed this on an old Agway (MTD) 38" riding mower

I was very pleased with it. An old one was shattered after it was hit by something. All of the components were rusted into place, so I had to buy a blade adapter, spindle and drive belt. Exactly the right size for the new spindle.

It took a little more work to get it working, but it's working As part of replacing the worn out bearings on the spindle assemblies on my 25 year old MTD riding mower, I purchased these bearings

It was difficult for the adapters to slide over the new spindles at first, so I rounded up the top corner of the inner diameter (where the spindle initially inserts into the adapter) a bit so that they could fit more easily. I was able to insert the device in place after that, although it was tight. At this point, the blades are in perfect working order.

Please take note The title is a play on words, a little hoax
For a repair part, it is good enough. It works as it should, it is easy to install on an old spindle shaft, it is machined well, and it is less expensive than an Other people are sure to enjoy it as well.

The adapter dropped right in and fit like a glove. As far as I can tell, the quality of the replacement part seems to be at least as good as the OEM part which I had to remove.
