The Performax part #60- is now obsolete, so I bought this one 160316 (on my 160316 After a long separation, they split into 32) which are currently separate. My original 180 grit seems to be the same as this 120 grit. In order to separate the old one, I’m still adjusting the tension.

The thickness is half that of the stock paper, and it is twice as thick. The last purchase I made was a mistake. The product tore after a few uses, and we ended up shopping around for a factory replacement at Woodcraft for 49 dollars.
My Performax 16" drum sander was bought by someone else, so I don't know where it is. The belt on this machine had a "set" in it due to a period of being in storage. To my utter dismay, I tried to remove the "set" by tightening the belt. Shortly thereafter, the belt disintegrated at the seam because of the excessive tightening. Having an approximately $800 tool that could not be used without replacing the belt led me to believe this was an EXACT replacement for the original belt. I have taken a chance and it actually fits the Performax "16" machine. Thanks to this and other reviewers for such information.
The back of the cover was ripped and the edge didn't track well. All of the glue was able to glue back on. It is a new belt that is fitted An assembly having to be removed was needed.
My only concern is that the paper is way too heavy for a machine like mine. However, the product fits and works fine. In terms of thickness and duty, the belt that came with the machine is substantially thicker and heavier.
Let me see what I can There is nothing to complain about, it works as it should. Through its proper design, the Jet drum sander transports the wood in the appropriate manner.
The system is working fine.
