As far as I can tell, the coins I received were exactly like the ones in the game I had bought. Three were in place of two so one extra was needed. The metal used in them is thick.
The measurement came out to be 3/8 in.

Mousetrap version 2 does not replace the original game in any way. Using larger and heavier balls at 0. 35, the mouse trap employs a large and effective mouse trap. It has a diameter of 625 inches. There are zero in each of these. The diameter of the disk is 5625 inches. We both still need replacement balls for the older mouse trap game where these do not work with it. However, they do work with the newer one we have both still search for replacement balls for the older mouse trap game.
Being able to have several extras handy is a plus. I like that the three pack came in a case. Mousetrap is one of our favorite games, but the metal ball got lost during one of our game days. A perfect fit for the game, this is both lightweight and the right size.

There are no marbles in the picture. The diameter of the circle is 5625 inches. In the newer versions of the game, the piece fits perfectly through the bathtub hole. If you are unsure, measure the inner diameter of the bathtub hole with calipers. A value greater than zero indicates an error. This number is smaller than 0, but larger than 5625. There is a marble with the correct number 625.
I used these for the new version of the Mouse trap game, which was a success. I'm glad you received an extra as a backup since the game requires two balls. The balls came quickly and were of the right weight and size.
One ball got lost while we were playing my son's favorite game. We are glad that we don't have to pay another $20 for another game just to get the balls. I'm happy that Amazon had these in time for Easter, and it was delivered within a few days of my ordering. We like this game, but I do think the price is a little steep for three small metal balls. It arrived quickly and we are able to continue playing!.
You can steal 3 I do not understand why you bought steel marbles if you were not looking for.
