Product Description

A bore of 8mm and an outside diameter of 12mm are combined with a length of 15mm.

In addition to the functions they perform, bushings can be used to reduce wear and vibration, to position the shaft, and to isolate the shaft from special media to extend shaft life.

Bronze bushings are most commonly used in general-purpose applications in conditions of moderate loads and speeds. The use of sleeve bearings in various industrial equipment is widely distributed.

In addition to reducing bore diameter, the bushings on wheels can also be used to replace worn-out original bushings.

It seems that bushings work fine, but the inner diameter of a 5mm drill I designed is larger than what my bushings can support

In order to guide a 5mm drill, I created a 5mm drill template with a 3D print and then used bushings for guidance. Despite its size, the bushing is heavier than the drill and does not guide the drill as well as I would have.

With my 3D printer, the bearings fit loosely on all of my 8mm rods. While the bearings are of good quality, there is far too much play for any use. If you are planning to use them for 3D printers or CNC machines, I would discourage you from using them.
