My bushings work really well, but the inner diameter is much larger than the drill I designed for 5mm

In order to guide a 5mm drill I made a 3D print of a drilling template and mounted bushings on it. My guess is that the bushing is larger than the drill bit and does not guide the drill as well as I expected it would.

Suitable for general use but not I found all the 8mm rods for my 3D printer to fit loosely with bearings

There is too much play in the bearings for them to be practical, but they're of good quality. If you are planning on using these for 3D printers or CNC machines, I would discourage that.
