9 years ago, I replaced the seals, and they lasted that long. Putting this in place of the entire body should keep me alive for a long time to come. A rebuild would require more parts, and I think it would cost more to do it this way.
The two of these pumps replaced my leaky very old It was easy to install (the seal and oil were provided). As far as I'm concerned, it's been trouble-free (one is now over a year old). One pump unit's shaft was sticking due to an oil wick that was caught in the shaft retainer during manufacture. Patriot Supply was very responsive to the issue. A replacement was sent out right away and Patriot paid the return postage for the defective one.
This pump was a good deal at the time, but at this point it is a backup plan.
