Thanks for the great information. I own several gearwrench tools and have enjoyed using them over the past 10 years. As far as I can tell, I have had no problems It is very well constructed and fits well, as well as being equipped with its own rail. *br>Don't use these with any impact tools, they were not designed to be used with.
During my research on the KDT80702, I found out they were

For the extra money I paid for these sockets, I would not have expected to see rust forming on the sockets immediately upon arrival. It appears that the rest of the chrome inside the sockets is It is likely that they will start rusting soon. There is not a lot of difference between these and my 15 Stanley metric 12 point sockets that I paid $17 for. It was 84 to 1. There are many similar features on the Stanley tools as on the Gearwrench tools. I'll keep them because returning them would be a hassle, but I normally buy a lot of Gearwrench tools and I found this to be very disappointing to say the least.
Update I returned the tools now. The first set was ultimately returned and the new set of sockets just arrived. It appears two of the sockets have discolored brown due to rusting (rust-colored brown discoloration). There is a dull matte chrome finish on the interior of the rest of the sockets. There is probably no need to worry about them rusting too soon. It is not worth the premium when you can get Taiwan made 1/2" metric socket sets about a third of the price or half the price for about the same time. I am sorry Gearwrench Taiwan. We need you to do your part. The following updates have been made The Gearwrench company just called me and offered to send me a replacement free of charge. Also told me not to throw away the other set. I give 5 stars to that kind of customer service.
I like the price, but the 20mm socket does not have any markings on it only a knurled section for grip at the bottom seems to be a very small flaw that could be picked up very quickly made me question the quality.
I used a socket from this set for the first time and my 18 mm broke down the side. I can't say for sure if these sockets are quality or not, but I did not like them The only thing I hope is that this is just a fluke defect in this My Amazon experience was amazing as usual, and I was immediately sent out a new set of bins.
In addition, there is a high torque (120 ft/lbs). As someone who is often involved with +) and chamfered sockets that push on the land surface, not the corner, I can attest to their effectiveness! A stubborn 17mm frame bolt, which had been slightly stripped by the previous mechanic, was going to be a hassle with my 3/8" drive Kobalt 17mm 12pt socket, so I bought one online and went on line to buy it to no avail. It was a piece of cake using my Gearwrench 6Pt. As soon as it loosened up, it went back to normal. Gearwrench's socket holder is so excellent, you won't need to buy another aftermarket one. Each of the socket holders has a ball bearing that springs into action.
The rails are made of modern plastic and feature metal detents. Product is manufactured in Taiwan by Apex Tool Group, which also manufactures Craftsman tools, which are covered by the same lifetime warranty as Craftsman tools.
You can't get deep chrome sockets in 1/2" drive outside of tool trucks, but I found the one non-tool truck alternative! It is a stupid thing that everyone else makes these in I find it hard to comprehend. The rails come with a good quality and are actually usable.
This unit comes with only two 23 mm sockets, without a 24 mm one. It is very difficult to connect them with the included rack with the sizes pointing directly at the user they all point in random directions a fair number cannot be corrected by 90 degree rotations, which is the only way the square drive can work. I would not be proud to own this machine. Those items will be returned to you.
This is a very light shirt and I doubt they are going to last long. The price point of $25 will make you happy.
