Despite how hard I tried, I was unable to secure the fitting properly when I connected it to my oxygen tank! I did not experience a leak at the plate connection on my 40 year old regulator (new connection on the Though the specs seem to be the same, I have no idea if they are different. I used my old fitting of my old regulator. After a lot of effort I was able to make the new fitting unscrew from all three sides and replace it with my old fitting and that solved that When I realized that the SCALE on the second stage regulator that leads to my torch was unusable, I canceled the connection. The scale is divided into two parts the inner and outer scales. As far as I can tell, the scale that increased from ZERO to 16 is in PSI, which is my maximum pressure I can go when using my torch for oxygen. That's not right! This was a great bar! 225 PSI was added to the PSI scale! Therefore, I again went back to my multiple decades old regulator and removed the gauge and re-installed it in GREAT detail on the NEW regulator with a scale that is much more usable. I'm so sorry about this. It was a snap to fix, but I needed to use my torch to do it I just sent it back. That's a big waste of time. Buy this piece of junk and don't waste your money!.
Gauges are easy to read and USG (U. S. It is the gauge) not the cheap imports that matter. I personally like this style with the tank hookup to the right side of the gauges, instead of out the back of the regulator, since it allows for a tight connection without having to touch the gauge directly with the crescent wrench. A heavy-duty adjustment knob is located on the flow adjustment knob. The new Victor style does its duty and is very similar to the old Additionally, the flow metering is highly accurate, which makes me a big.
As of December 2020, I have been using this propane regulator However, it has now developed a leak, so the return window is still one month away. The money has gone down the drain. I have been hooking up regulators for over 40 years and know how to do it. You get more for your money if you spend a little.
Propane is the fuel I use to braze and weld. Having replaced my old propane gauge set with this unit after it stopped working, I recently upgraded to this new model. Using the pressure adjustment, it can adjust the pressure from full capacity from the tank or just a few pounds, depending on your requirements. The precision and ease of use of this product seem promising.
believe this regulator set is a great value, especially if you plan on using it at home. In order to adjust the pressure, I prefer the "T" over the knob. Honestly, I do believe the gauges and fittings are overtightened. It might be difficult to loosen them if necessary if repairs have to be conducted. I wouldn't mind purchasing the product again even if this issue arises.
These work just fine for their price. The purchase was a good decision and I am pleased with the products.
So far, they appear to be working fine. In time, we will be able to tell for sure. There's a lot to be said for how sturdy they are built. So far, the controls seem to work fine. Not bad for the money.
High quality design and manufacture at a reasonable price. Easy to use knobs with USG gauges that are clear and easy to This is a great way to upgrade your gas welding set for ease of use and confidence.
