As of now, I have only used the regulator once, but it seems to be adequate. A brass hose adapter and a rubber O ring are included in the package. Although the adapter has a clear use, the O ring is less clear. Fortunately, however, there was no obvious place to use it, so I used a SWAG at the connection between the regulator and the hose. Everything seems to be going well so far. The threads between the regulator and tank valve, as well as the threads between hose and welder are also somewhat large. This caused me some concern I might be cross-threading the joint, however it was too difficult to hand tighten to my satisfaction. When I started, I had to use a wrench to bring the connection snug, then I had to I am pleased with how things have gone so far. In my opinion, the ball/sight glass style flow meter is more reliable because it is not dependent on springs or any other components of the gauge mechanism. Hopefully it will be a reliable device as gravity in combination with the ball size and gas aperture will determine its quality. The plastic flow gauge tube is vulnerable to breakage due to poor handling in crowded spaces, so poor material handling in such an environment may result in it breaking off.

There is a leak in this regulator and it's poorly constructed. You should test it as soon as you receive it, or you will be unable to return it. I do not recommend purchasing this.
