the hose does not press tightly against the barbed fitting, then yes, the fitting needs to be replaced. A big hose is unnecessary, so why is it so large?
Dear, could you confirm whether you would like to order a MIG welder or an oxygen regulator? Two of our mig welders, the MIG150 and the MIG175, only work on 220V, but another plasma cutter, the CUT50D, works on dual voltage as well. I hope it can be of some help to
I bought a 5/16 in hose barb, but this can depend on what size of hose you get
According to my observations, the middle of the ball is where it is located. You can use it pretty intuitively.

Despite being sent in a dedicated box, the regulator was not damaged during shipment since it was molded in good packaging. Buying a new regulator solved a leak that could be fixed for more than it would have cost to fix the old one. Having a barbed fitting to fit a 5/16" hose was a good idea for me, and it does when I need it. The collar nut is unscrewed, so I can see that the barb connector has a ball on the opposing end, so it might accept some other type of fitting like the part People who have had problems directly attaching their fancy hoses tend to have complaints about the brand of welder they use. Unlike my cheap welder, I thought people with fancy welders used expensive mixed gases and not cheap CO2. It is my advice to cut off the end of the hose and push it on the barbed connector. Alternatively, you can buy one from a welding store for much more money. I have not had any leaks with this flow gauge. It works smoothly and the adjustment is smooth. I was looking for something exactly like this. I highly recommend this book!.
Had I gotten it in the first place, I would have sent it back at this point (my fault). I would have bought the proper fitting there (where I should have purchased it). I became aware of how ugly this thing was when I saw it this way. Taking the fitting off forced me to take the kg/cm meter off to prevent it from breaking. There was thread sealant in the gauge's air inlet and the thread sealant was present on the gauge itself. As though superglue had hardened, this sealer does the same thing. I now have a useless, worthless, junk gauge I'm dumping in my scrap brass bin because there's no way to get all the traces out. You can see through it as long as you don't need it for functional purposes!.
As specified in the listing, the CO2 flowmeter does not come with a hose adapter or fit the 5/8 hose fitting as stated.
When the weather gets colder, this regulator gets iced up very quickly, making it difficult to read. The welding only takes a few minutes before the metal freezes. I can still use it, but the appearance is terrible. When I used my old pressure gauge style, it would take 15 minutes for the gauge to freeze up and the pressure would start rising. Therefore, this one seems better to me. I may have to move the gas bottle to a warmer place before I can use it. The sun is shining outside (I am in the sun).
This was adapted to work with Kegerator Co2 bottles. For the cost, it works great. So far, it hasn't caused us any.
At first, I didn't give it five stars because of some issues I had however, once I figured out what the issue was, it all turned out well, and the gauge was a great plus when using the device.
The die does an excellent job of regulating the gas flow to the welding machine.
