Gas service is color-coded for extra security. The frame is made of brass. The gas-tight connection is achieved by a spring-loaded locking mechanism that responds to fingertip action. The product is UL approved. Additional safety is provided by a double seal socket connection on the second seal.

There is no reverse check valve included with this quick disconnect

I ordered two of these Western Enterprises QDB33 quick disconnect units on September 2nd, and they arrived on September 2nd. Yes, they have a very nice, smooth connect and disconnect feature, but I really need the reverse function. This unit appears to have a flow check valve function, according to both Western Enterprise's website and this product listing. That is the primary reason for my purchase. I've got an Argon tank and a C25 tank hooked up to a valved-off system. Y to supply my GMAW (mig) machine. Sometimes I wish for less CO2 in my gas, so I turn on my Argon tank with the appropriate flow rate to mix to approximately I used to think that my tank regulators were allowing the lower-quality fuel to flow through. a pressure tank to allow some of the gas from the higher-pressure system to get into the lower-pressure system When both Y- and Z-components are present, a pressure tank is created. Because the regulators lacked sufficient check valves, valves were opened. This is the primary reason for the need for these check valves and quick disconnects. connective tissue Due to the lack of a check-in, this was a huge disappointment. These units have a valve.

Great QD. Because I left a bottle on, I know they won't leak. If your welder, like mine, has a single gas input connection and can do both MIG and TIG, these are ideal for supplying the required gas to a multi-process welder. a couple of bottles The problems of two QDs have been resolved!.
