As a result, the gauge is not reading. You shouldn't waste your time reading this. You won't get a return on your investment. The metal bends on this cheap unit, and it does not work.
There may be some doubt about the accuracy of the low pressure gauge, but I used it with a refrigeration manifold gauge set so I had an accurate second gauge in line. It was no surprise nor a problem that the gauge was inaccurate due to the low price of the regulator. A regulator that works great to about 400 PSI is recommended. That's what I used to apply the top pressure.
Mini split heat pumps are pressure tested with this device. I have no issues with it. It functions as expected. This is good value for the money.
I am very pleased with the product for my son. I have been very pleased with the shipping speed, despite worldwide delivery slowness.
Despite the great price, the regulator does not get up to 600 psi the best I can get is around 425 and that's because the T-rex valve isn't as tight as I'd like it Bottom of the handle comes out of the regulator at the T. Regardless, I will keep it as 400 psi is enough to operate my system.
Just as I expected, works perfectly.
It was very good and.
