It was used to drill two 8-inch holes through a 7-inch hole and then re-use it. Concrete barriers were erected. It was difficult to place, but it went in without a hitch. Because I only have two holes right now, I can't comment on longevity. However, using an 8" bit was much less expensive than using a pro-type. drillers, and the final product is flawless - Each hole took about 30 minutes to complete - Slowly moving forward. However, you must fiddle with the water feed - If you're careful, it's not difficult or even messy.
