Product Description

Despite its size, the HMD130 is only 23 pounds. Featuring an electrical rating of 115V, 50/60 Hz, and 9-Amps, this table weighs 8 lbs. This motor can be operated on any standard 115 or 120 volt source and develops 450 no-load revolutions per minute. The RotaLoc Plus annular tool cutters are easy to install and to remove due to RotaLoc Plus annular cutters' patented feed system, which has a smooth feeding system and minimal maintenance requirements

The slug ejector has two positive slug ejection buttons, high torque gears, a lift detector safety system, and a feed handle that can be easily flipped

What types of drill bits are used on this system and do the cutters come with a drill chuck?

These machines only come with Rotalock cutters. Once a cutter has been used you are not likely to use a regular bit in such a machine

If it comes with the magnet, or if it is purchased separately, does it come with the magnet?

Electromagnets are shown in black in the photo at the base of the base. On the picture with the table, you can see the magnet's specifications.

Yes, just ensure that you use the pilot pin for 17810.

There are some limitations with the cutters on this drill, but it is a great drill with high quality

In addition to a 130# Milwaukee magnetic base drill, we purchased this as a lighter alternative. What a great unit this is. well with thinner material than my big Milwaukee model, and holds better than it. One negative of this system is that you must purchase the locking cutters in the 5/8" shank size, and tap drill sizes do not seem to be available, which is creating a lot of extra work for us.
