It doesn't work with my original Pirantabr>I have the original Piranta Havalon, and the blade slides on smoothly. When I close the knife, I have a problem. The blade's base collides with one of the cross supports, preventing it from fully closing. When comparing the bases of the 60XT and the 60A, you'll notice that the 60A has a "nose" while the 60XT does not. This "nose" appears to be the source of the problem.
These blades have a "PROPRIETARY" label on them! They WILL NOT GET ANY OTHER KNIFE THAN THE ONE FOR WHICH THEY WERE DESIGNED! Even blades from the same manufacturer do not fit into different knife styles. Sorry
I don't think so. Havalon.
This package contains a total of twelve blades.

These blades are more rigid than the original 60XT, but because they don't bend as much, it's more difficult to swap them out. I don't need pliers to change the blades on the 60XT. It's necessary to use pliers for this one, which is inconvenient in the field. When I want to slide on a new 60XT, I simply press hard on the base perpendicular to the blade and snap it in half; when I want to remove a dull 60XT, I simply press hard on the base perpendicular to the blade and snap it in half. The 60XT is flimsier and more prone to breaking, but it is also more convenient to swap in and out. In addition, the base of the 60A is different. When compared to the 60XT, the shape is similar, but the 60A has a "nose" at the base, which means it won't close all the way on the original Piranta. Havalon produces excellent products; however, you should be aware of what you are purchasing.
I liked my blade at first, but it didn't have a long-lasting edge. If there is any sideways pressure, such as in cutting boxes, take it easy at first.
It's a pack of scapples with the perfect length. It was primarily used for skinning. It's a good fit for me.
I wish there was more information on which knife set these were for because they do not fit the " Lowes " Gerber razor knife. I didn't try to refund them because I had opened and beaten one of the knife's blades.
This is an excellent replacement blade.
It says abs on the scarf, and they're super strong for scaple blades. They'll actually sharpen to near-new levels.
I haven't used these yet, but the original 60 blades used on deer and elk were far too flimsy and broke far too easily, making them potentially dangerous and ineffective. The 60A blades are significantly thicker and less flexible than the original 60 blades, and they appear to be much more durable.
The blades are good, though they could be a little thicker. They are far superior to the ones that came with the knife.
