In order to use a mug press, you do not need to shrink wrap the goods. The paper can be secured to the mug using just heat tape. There will be far greater pressure created by the press than by shrink wrapping.

In a nutshell, Some people did not like this brand of shrink wrap, but I found this shrink wrap to be helpful, and I didn't mess up a cup when using it. In my oven, I let it preheat to 400 degrees before I put it on, and I have an oven thermometer so I know when it's at 400 degrees. I tried my first tumbler for three minutes, my second one for four minutes, and neither of them They came out beautifully, in my opinion. However, you must wear gloves on both hands while applying this shrink wrap because it is difficult to remove. Here is a tip for you. let the over handle shrink wrapping the item for me instead of shrink wrapping it before hand. When it shrinks, it wraps itself up, so it doesn't have to do that. That would be an unnecessary step so I don't follow through. Once the over shrink wrap is placed over it, it fits like a glove. The following are a few of the cups I made for our family, no paper burns or anything like that. Likewise, if you purchase this paper, be sure to bake it for only 4 minutes at 400, I have mine on the confection setting, and I use a Hamilton beach oven to bake my 20oz tumblers. In order to fit my tumblers on the racks, I moved them out. If you are struggling to figure out how to shrink wrap now, I hope this helps you.
There's only one reason to give it a one star rating to warn others not to buy it. In case it melted, I put parchment paper under it. I am glad I thought of that, as it did and I I recommend that you do not purchase this! Keeping my shrink wrap on the shelf is a bad idea. I know what I'm doing.
This is a product I'm likely to purchase Please accept my sincere thanks.
It was with some trepidation that I ordered these sleeves. In the past, I have read a lot of articles about sleeves melting. After doing some research on the recommended temperature and time settings, I decided to start with the lower setting. My sublimation was done on a glow stick This is the I heated shrunk the sleeve around a dark, skinny tumbler before wrapping it in parchment paper (instead of butcher paper). As I baked the bread, I placed a sheet of parchment paper on the convection oven's grate, preheat it to 300 degrees for four minutes, then turn it halfway through. There was no melting of the sleeves. Honestly, I didn't think it would turn out this good on my first try! But, My niece's bridesmaid gifts will be made with this product, and I am looking forward to using it.
I had a horrible experience with the shrink.
The application does what it is designed to do. The ones I have are not melting nor burning. Without the perforated seam, it may be a little more difficult to remove, but this is not a huge issue.
It is a better product than others I have used because it does not stick to my glasses like others.
Having ordered these two times, I now know what to expect. It was awesome to receive my first package. Having said that, the second package is less impressive. My cups melt at the rim because they are thicker and don't form as well. I'll have to locate something else.
