Questions & Answers
There is an analog and a digital version of this device. In order to power the strobe lights, you will need 115VAC. It is detailed in the manual that comes with the box. These are two of the plants that I have.
RJ-45 connectors are used to trigger this device with an analog 90 volt ring voltage. A positive 24 volt DC voltage should be applied across the signal input plug 11, or across the signal input trigger plug 22. Unlike VoIP devices, this device does not support voice calls.
You will still need a telephone cord (to get the ring signal from a jack (or phone) to the strobe) and an outlet to power it, if you already have the mount for the strobe. If there is an issue with the power connection, it may be caused by that. If you need assistance, you may need to contact an electrician or visit a local hardware store. From common lamp cords to 12/3 cables - there are all kinds of options you have. Anything 2 or more Using the wire (rated for 120v) should be sufficient. Since I am using it in an industrial environment, I went with some 12/3 that I was able to get on a spool and custom fit it (taking out the neutral). In neither case did I notice a polarity difference. *br>How to use the strobe and flash You must connect the device to a 120v power source to operate the speaker. When the strobe is powered by telephone line voltage, it will not work.
This is how it appears in the In order to install a telephone jack into the unit, you will need to use a 120V power cord. There is no need to drill any holes for mounting. Put a screw in the wall and screw it in. I really like the loudness and adjustability of the sound.

The only problem is that it requires 110 volts of an electrical outlet as well as connection to a phone analog line to work. Although it does not come with the AC cord, it does require it to work, so you'll have to find an electrical cord. It's quite pricey for something that doesn't work.
These ringers worked well for my needs on the manufacturing floor, where we needed a loud ringer for our phones. When an incoming call is received, they will be bright and loud so you'll know right away. Even if they worked better if they had different rings, they still seem to be doing fine with the rings that they have now.
The work is.
When needed, the volume is super loud. There is no problem hearing it over the sound of air hammers in a loud shop where the mechanics use this product.
We can hear the phone call out in our MFG shop with no problem.
My warehouse has a fan running 24/7, so this ringer works on the fan all day. I thought it would perform the tasks I expected of it. A power cord is not included with the device, and you will need to purchase one separately.
An impressive 5 out of 5.
I like how it works.
