The product is comparable to those offered by competitors. I've purchased from a variety of different vendors and manufacturers. The DOT standard ensures that reflective qualities are maintained across all products; I'm not sure about the adhesive, but it appears to be holding up well. We purchased this new roll for the backs of some vehicles that stop frequently and park in the right of way for short periods of time, as well as utility trailers for lawn equipment and other items.
Short strips of this tape were applied to the side cases of my motorcycle (white strips on the fronts, red stripes on the backs), and it appears to be bright enough when viewed from certain angles. I'm just hoping those angles match how drivers in cars behind or slightly to the sides of me see me. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Further testing revealed that this tape brightly reflects light back to the viewer. I'm changing my rating to a five-star rating, but I'm not sure how long it will last. Reflective qualities last a long time.
Fast delivery from a fantastic vendor. Used to raise awareness of a new off-road travel trailer. the- boon for the grid docking. With just a little light at night, it's highly visible. Increases visibility at the back of the trailer (bumper) as well. Bought 30 ft. of rope to use when driving less than 80 mph up steep hills at night with people who should have left earlier. There's enough room for a travel trailer and a boat trailer on this roll. I would order from you again because of the quick delivery - this item or other items sold by this Amazon seller / shipper.
Because I live in the country with no street lights, it's easy to miss my driveway. I bought some pressure-treated 2x2s and cut one end to make a point so I could use a sledgehammer to drive it into the ground. br> I then used the tape to mark the top 18 inches of my driveway with reflective markers. br> If you drive down the road late at night, you can see my driveway from about 2/10s of a mile away. br>Because my driveway is long, I use markers on the edges to indicate where the plow should go. br>Excellent product; don't waste your time with the low-cost reflectors available at discount hardware stores.
The tape is long-lasting, simple to "peel and stick," and has a high level of reflective luminosity. even during the day Furthermore, it worked well on galvanized steel as well as painted wood. To avoid bubbles, I suggest beginning at one end and pressing/smoothing as you go. This product has met my expectations!.
This was a gift from my wife, and I'll be using it in my utility trailer. I wasn't sure why I needed this at first, but it's fantastic. People are less likely to bump into my trailer in the driveway when it's lit up at night, and other drivers can clearly see it. In the three months that it has been on my trailer, none of it has come loose or needed to be replaced. This is something I would recommend to anyone who thinks they might need it.
This tape is actually quite good in terms of reflection - a lot of reflection The adhesive, on the other hand, is a different story. utter nonsense The good thing about this tape, as sad as it may sound, is that because the adhesive is so bad, it will be easy to peel off and replace.
This is an excellent cassette. On a pole next to my driveway, I used it. When I approach at night, my street is dark, and it's difficult to see the driveway entrance. Because the tape reflects well in my headlights, I was able to pull right in instead of creeping slowly in search of the narrow entrance. It has held up well on the pole in the rain and snow.
