Since we have poor visibility entering the roads, this mirror is used as a driveway mirror

Because we are not able to see into the road from the driveway, we use this as a mirror. I like the mounting hardware because it is strong, easy to mount, and works pretty There was only one disappointment for me and that was when dirtbags broke our first one with a frozen water bottle. This was bad enough, but I discovered that replacing the broken mirror with the exact same item about 18 months after ordering it would be about 30% more expensive than when I first bought it. found it to be the right item for our needs, and when I tried to install it, I could just slide it on to the existing mounts, but the price increase was less than I had expected.

The field of view is wider and stronger than the indoor version

There are two connecting bars on the outdoor version, and it is a lot sturdier in general. I have tried two of these units so far, and both of them had multiple indentations in their Possibly not a big deal if it's going to be outdoors anyway, but for $100 I was hoping for more. It's time to return this second mirror and order a new one.

I really like this mirror, but it looks very cheap

I really like this mirror, but it looks very cheap. Despite being distorted around the edges and having what looks like a fiberboard backing, the reflection does not reflect well. It is much less superior in quality than the one it replaces. We do not recommend this.
