Questions & Answers

What are the restrictions on the use of this product on pvc gates?

I'd like to thank you very much for getting in touch with us, Lourdes. It may be possible to drill holes into the PVC gate if it is strong enough and you are able to drill holes in it. It's okay if you're not 100% sure. Order and test it, instead. It is very likely that the Mirror will not work, but we're happy to refund your money in that case. That should be helpful, thanks! I will be happy to help you further if there is anything else that I can do! Your Kiloxa team wishes you a great start to the week

A wedge anchor type of bolt for concrete appears to have been used for mounting. What if we drill a hole the same diameter and then hammer it ?

It is a tree that I want to attach this to. Does this require a change in the directions?

It is true that "moderate" adjustment is needed. There is a 45* left/right axis and a 45* up/down axis.

My truck parks inside my garage. Can I make use of this mirror to keep an eye on it as I pull in or back out for Is it better to have 12" or 18"?

A pair of pillars sit on either side of the entrance to my driveway, which leads to an extremely busy street. I can now pull out with greater confidence, since I can now see both ways including the sidewalk where I almost hit a bicyclist because I couldn't see. for seeing what's behind you, I believe you will be able to see with no difficulty if you tilt the mirrors in that direction. Those mirrors look good, are strong, and are amazing. I give this buyer two thumbs up because I am happy and relaxed with it. If in doubt, I suggest you contact the manufacturer. Before I bought, I spoke with them over the phone and they were great.

It consists primarily of a convex plastic mirror, a black plastic housing, and a metal arm
5/5

The company stands by the quality of the mirror with great service. There is no doubt that these components are of decent Rubbery cylinders are stuck together at both ends with adhesive. It is glued to the housing on one end, and to the center back of the mirror on the other end. After I installed the mirror assembly, the mirror fell to the concrete below a few hours later. Despite the adhesive holding the black plastic shade together, it had given way. It was smashed, so I glued it back together, thinking that it had simply been clumsy Not even a minute later, it was down My first step was to disassemble the housing until I was able to insert screws into the rubber cylinder through the back of it. The mirror stayed on the concrete for a few days, but then it fell off again. As it turned out, the adhesive had failed at the opposite The mirror was screwed to the black cylinder and housing after a hole had been drilled in its center. Now I have a functioning mirror, though it is scratched up from the amount of falls it has endured, and you can see the head of a screw in the center of it. Aside from the fact that it was not too hot or windy in the area where the mirror is located, nor is it located in a building that is still vibrating. Based on my results, I am compelled to conclude the adhesive is at fault.

Update This 2-page proposal was responded to by the company By sending me another mirror, you've awarded me a fifth star review, and this mirror shows me where the failure occurred. In order to snap into its housing, the convex mirror is supposed to be inserted into a channel around the edge. Due to the weight of the mirror, the adhesive was not meant to hold it in place, so it When I used my first mirror, it had been snapped into place, but it had not been fixed. Material quality was not the issue here, but rather a problem with assembly. As far as build quality is concerned, I imagine this is not common. It was just a lucky break for me. It is a pleasure for me to raise my rating from 2 stars to 5, and I would recommend this company and those products.

There are no common pieces of hardware included
3/5

This mirror is lightweight and has a very good quality. Nevertheless, you should be aware of the following facts 1) It comes with concrete anchors that do not It will be a requirement for you to use your own plastic anchors and screws if you have sheetrock or wood studs. In order to install the fasteners, you drill a 3/8" and slide the fastener into the wall, after which you have a bolt sticking out of the wall, which is secured with washers and a nut. This is not a good design, even for concrete, because the bolt rotates along with it when you twist the nut. It surprised me that the seller did not include mounting hardware for the most common uses. 2) There is very little left of the ball head on the mirror's back it has become very chipped- I think 20 degrees is about right for adjustability. With the up/down adjustment, it can be set to about 120 degrees. In case your application is designed to have the mirror directed one way or another towards the wall, it cannot comply with the design. As you can see, it's a lengthy installation with the provided tools. You would be able to accomplish it quickly if you have the right equipment.

A big woot! Having a garage allows me to park in it! It would have been impossible for me to park my car in my garage because the door is narrow and I am short, so I cannot see the edges of my car, and I have been too afraid of hitting either side to attempt parking in my garage
5/5

In search of solutions, I found the mirror on this site. Having purchased, installed, and tried it out, I can attest to its excellent functionality. My eyes have opened and I can see exactly what I need! Having gotten in a habit of doing it, I no longer even think about it. It's great to have you back!.

The process of parking my vehicle in the garage had recently become a game of back in to check, back up to check, back up again to check, back up, oh no you hit the wall, pull forward and the door is now closed for good
5/5

The purpose of my quest was to be able to see how far I have left until I hit the wall so I can close the garage door before I hit it. It did not take long at all to get it in place after my wife helped hold it up while we looked for a good spot. It was covered with a thick plastic film that I could peel off and it had no issues once I did so. A garage stud was in the way of what I was installing. Unfortunately, the hardware came with it was not suitable for such use. Thanks to some wood screws, I was able to complete the project. I am not faulting the company I am just providing a heads up for those who plan to use this in another.

An effective way to reduce parking anxiety! When did we not have one of these a long time The hallway outside our garage is narrow and it is very hard to get out of the driver's side without hugging the right side of the garage
4/5

Our rack consists of a horizontal horizontal bar and is made of PVC that protrudes 5 inches on the right side. When I pull into it, I'm always a little nervous so I'm going with the flow without knowing how close I am (after hitting it once and denting my upper fender). That's what we need to do! The reason I knocked off a star is that though there are screws to mount it, they As they do not expand once inserted in the wall, they can easily be removed. It may not be a command strip we installed, but possibly an incorrect command strip. Because the mirror is lightweight, I am hoping it does not fall, but I am also pleased with the purchase overall. Be sure to keep the box you receive until you install it, so you can follow the instructions. The small business seller included a nice note with the order as well.

This is awesome

Mirrors are useful for seeing everything without having to leave the house. So I bought one for the garage. Using the mirror, I can see all that is going on through the window. Stunning. I am in awe of it.

Garage for a small vehicle- This has solved the dilemma of big SUVs
5/5

Exactly what I had been looking for! Now that it's attached to the garage door opener box on top, so that I can drive into the garage and out without scratching my car, I am enjoying my life again. I'm so happy! In the photo (this is the one on the left).
