I used double-sided tape to mount the sign because it came without any adhesive.

It's about the size of a license plate and looks exactly like the photo. It's made of vinyl.
Mine has a chain across the top that allows it to be hung.

This is by far the most excellent Amazon purchase I've ever made. First and foremost, I do not require a package to be delivered to my door. Maybe I'm getting old and grumpy, but I love it when my packages are delivered quietly to my front porch. My dog also does not go insane for no apparent reason.
All packages are to be delivered to my covered breezeway, which I have specified on numerous occasions. UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS) are excellent. Amazon is split 50/50, and FedEx doesn't give a damn (I could put concertina wire around my uncovered front porch and they'd toss it over it). br>br>I'm hoping that the respective logos on this colorful sign will catch their eye and help them avoid the "soggy box" problem that I've had in the past. br>br>It's sized as stated - 9" x 6" with a thickness of about 1/8" If you want to hang it, you'll need to punch some holes through it because this version doesn't have any. It was possible to drive screws right through it. br>br>The material is light but not flimsy (in fact, it's quite rigid) and should last a long time when taped to the inside of my storm door (window). br>br>I did add "Please" before "DO NOT KNOCK or Ring Bell" because it's on all the other signs and I'm not sure why it wasn't on this one (seems like there's plenty of room). br>br>At the bottom of the page, there is a "No Soliciting" section. br>br>I'll update this if the colors fade (or not) in the future (hopefully, it'll help). br>br>If you found this review helpful, please click the 'Helpful' button below (this lets me know I'm not wasting my time by doing these). Thank you very much!.
I drilled a hole in the middle of my front door and screwed this in place. I really like the fact that the one I got has a message that I can customize. I didn't write anything on it, of course. I printed out my message and then used clear packaging tape to protect the paper and keep it in place in case I need to change or update it in the future. br>br>By looking at the screw head in the picture, you can get an idea of the size of the sign. Really, I believe it is the ideal size. It should be neither too big nor too small. The sign is made of hard plastic on the outside and foam on the inside. It has a solid feel to it and appears to be built to last for many years. That's good because I don't like people bothering me, and I'm not about to change my mind. I bought it because of the no soliciting clause at the bottom. It's evident. br>br> Direct and to the point. It even says "please," which is more polite than I'll ever be. It is direct and to the point. It appeals to me a great deal.
I'm so relieved that my doorbell has stopped ringing and my dogs have stopped barking during our conference calls!.
So far, I've only had one repeat solicitor, but after asking if he read the sign and receiving a "yes, but" response, I was able to shut the door in his face. " *the door slams shut**.
My three dogs and I are at home during the day. Almost every day, I receive multiple shipments, and I am not always able to get to my door when they are delivered. When the doorbell rings, my dogs go crazy, and I have to take time away from work to calm them down. br> The issue has been resolved. Except for one UPS driver, who instead chose to honk his horn. 🙄.
The info on the sign appeals to me. It includes everything I need, including not ringing the doorbell, barking dogs, leaving packages on the porch, and no solicitation. I had two deliveries the day I put the sign up on my front door, one from USPS and the other from UPS; The doorbell was rung by both of them at the same time. My front door is about nine feet away from a four-foot high gate with a doorbell. I was able to speak with a representative from USPS, who stated that he had not seen the sign. The sign was then mounted on a post and moved three feet away from the gate's front. The delivery person rang the doorbell today when I received a Prime package. He claimed that he did not notice the sign because he was on a strict timetable, i. e. Drop everything and take off. I wouldn't put this sign up unless the delivery person comes up to your front door to drop off the package and, hopefully, reads it.
It isn't required. Either I'm not home, in which case I wouldn't hear a doorbell anyway, or I'm home resting because I'm chronically ill and my dog, a special needs dog with severe anxiety, would freak out. I don't want delivery services to cause any problems in my home.
