Questions & Answers

I don't know how to operate the lock. What keeps the hasp closed after you close it over the key, turn it around, and remove it?

That is not a key; it simply turns to allow a padlock to be inserted, keeping the door tight against the frame so there is no stress when putting on and taking off the padlock.

What is the actual length between the hinge and the end on the flat hinge side? This does not include the hinge. ?

You filthy raccoons, try to steal my chickens right now
5/5

Unfortunately for my chickens, trash pandas have figured out how to open barrel locks. So, I got some new chickens, and they're protected by a swivel hasp lock and a thread lock carabiner. The raccoons haven't returned in a few months. Despite numerous obvious attempts (I can see their paw prints in the dirt in the mornings), they have not been able to gain entry. If the situation changes, I will provide an update.

I'm finally able to take a bath without interruption! It's a little ridiculous, but when the carved-out carved-out carved-out carved-out carved-out carved-out into- the- set up This was a quick and easy solution to prying eyes after the metal panel that kept the door locked fell into disrepair! br>br>Masking tape was used to hold the pieces in place, and then a cordless electric screwdriver was used to remove the tape
4/5

After that, remove the tape with a dramatic flourish (because I discovered that staccato movement effectively removes tape from metal). br>br>As well as being less expensive than a doorknob!.

For me, it's a win-win situation
5/5

This worked for me when I needed to secure an access gate to a pool. I have an above-ground pool in my backyard, and I needed a way to provide easy access from the inside while preventing access from the outside. This works, and there's no need for a lock; simply twist the little handle thing. It appeals to me, and for the price, I'll give it five stars;.

The purchase was satisfactory to me
4/5

The purchase was satisfactory to me. I bought it for my back door because the lock could easily be popped open with a butter knife or a screw driver, and I'd have no way of knowing if anyone came in unless they took something. I bought it to avoid having to buy a padlock, but I now have to buy one because of the way my door is set up and how I had to place the gasp. Despite this, I am more secure.

Everything is in order
5/5

Everything went according to plan. We put these in our medical supply cabinets that hang on the wall. br>An important point to keep in mind: WD- must be used. 40, in order for the locking mechanism to turn more smoothly. It was a little difficult to spin at first, but after WD-ing it, it became much easier. When the number 40 was applied, everything went smoothly.

Excellent value for money, and a quick and simple way to secure almost any door
5/5

Works great, is simple to put together, comes with all necessary screws, and screws into any type of wood with a cordless screwdriver or drill. The best part is that it will keep the latch in place or keep the door closed with or without a lock. It's just that having a lock adds an extra layer of security.

One more step to ensure that the door is properly closed! This was purchased as a backup for our garage freezer door, which had been tipped forward
5/5

The freezer was unable to close properly. There is a faint "alarm" that I doubt anyone could hear if they were working in the garage at the time. There was an issue. The problem is that it doesn't sound until the freezer temperature rises, so we were upstairs doing something else. The faint beep in the garage was the first time I heard it. We were unable to recover any of the food from the freezer. As a result, I got this as a precautionary measure.

As an add-on, I discovered the ideal swivel hasp on Amazon
5/5

Great for a hay box I built outside the goat pen to save time during the day by avoiding extra steps. Easy to put together, exactly as advertised, and always out of stock at the local hardware store. I'm hoping that the swivel lock loosens with use. Great for preventing the hay from getting wet and moldy if the lid is blown open by the wind. I'd make another purchase.
