No way! Our floors are made of ceramic tiles.
Although it may catch spiders, I believe a mouse could get through. I just got this last week, and it seems to work well at removing debris from the bottoms of shoes, but I'm having trouble getting the bottom sheet to stick to concrete. It's possible that duct tape will be required to keep it in place.
It's not something I'd want to do. In addition, I don't believe it would clean your feet.
My cat has no problem walking across the sticky pad. My 83-year-old sister was having difficulty navigating the pad. To avoid being surprised, I usually inform anyone who walks in that there is a sticky pad to walk over. br>The pads were extremely helpful in keeping the black from the asphalt street from getting on the rugs.

As you walk over them, these are great for cleaning your shoes. Unfortunately, I had no idea that in our remote location, they would also catch insects and leaves that blow into the garage. Perhaps knowing that the bugs are being caught is a plus, but I prefer not to look at them until the sticky sheet needs to be changed. My criticism has nothing to do with the product and everything to do with this user's situation, so I'm giving it a 5-star rating.
These were purchased to be used as a welcome mat from my garage to my home. They're extremely sticky and effective at removing dirt and sand from your shoes. Even after wiping on a regular door mat first, I was surprised at how much they cleaned off. br>These are a more expensive solution than simply a door mat. However, I believe it is worthwhile to use this product because it effectively eliminates the problem of tracking stray grains of sand and dirt into the house. This is a far more thorough method of cleaning the floor. If that's important to you, this is well worth the money.
While my house is being renovated, I'm trying to keep my sanity. I had plaster dust all over my work area before I bought these and placed them at the entrances and exits. The painters tracked the dust on their socks even when they removed their shoes. Keeps plaster dust, grout and sparkle particles out of the rest of the house, as well as sawdust and general construction dust. It saves a lot of time cleaning and makes everyone happier because I'm not nagging them and they're not nagging me. br>For the greater good, every painter should bring one to the houses where he or she works.
In my home, I have an unfinished basement with a dark burgundy carpet running the length of the stairs. My handyman suggested I get these mats so that when someone walks up from the basement to the first floor, the cement dust or construction dust would stick to the mat instead of leaving footprints on my carpeting at the top of the stairs. I couldn't figure out how to secure the mat to the floor despite the fact that there are instructions on the package. The mat as it has been used is shown here. Each pad contains 30 sheets, and if one becomes too dirty, the top sheet can be removed to reveal a fresh sticky surface. There are four mats in the set, each with 30 sheets. The mats must be stored FLAT in order to maintain their shape. For MY purposes, it was certainly effective. It's likely to be beneficial to pet owners as well.
The item is a tad too cheesy. The matt sticks to your shoes, and you trip over it. We reasoned that if we waited a day, the shaky quality would subside. That was not the case. Also, despite the fact that it says thirty sheets per matt, the top sheet is a cover sheet, so you only get 29. Because I'm returning it, this is a moot point.
The size and adhesion are excellent, and it's easy to see how much dust you've collected (which could otherwise have been brought into the house), which is especially useful during pandemics. Please see the attached photo. I am pleased with my purchase.
The mats were in great shape when they arrived. At work, I'm using it to keep dog hair under control (I'm training a Yellow Lab to be a service dog). Mats are capturing hair and not bothering the dog, which is exactly what I hoped for. When I step on it, it tends to pull away from the carpet a little. My chair mat stayed in place better after I overlayed it a little. With a 60-pound dog, it is impossible to lift. Picture depicts two days of dog traffic and napping. I would have preferred more color options, such as to better match the carpet color (brown) or the color of the dog fur (yellow/beige). Grey mat measures 24" x 36".
What a fantastic product! I'd expect to see it in a hospital setting. s for years and knew they were effective at reducing dirt and impurities in your surroundings. They have done an excellent job of keeping my floors clean throughout my house. I placed them at the front door of my wife's art studio as well as the garage door. Wow! I really like this item.
