Excellent water repellency and absorbency! This stuff is great for absorbing or catching oily substances without having to soak them in water

When a pump seal failed in a sump well, I had a specific need to remove kerosene without soaking up water. Over the course of a few days, a few strips of this did a great job of cleaning that up. Also useful for putting under items that may leak oil or for servicing them when you don't want water to collect in the pad.
