Our heaviest sock has extra-dense construction to hug floors and stay in place while spills are contained.

Leaks, drips, and spills are quickly absorbed by fine-grade vermiculite filler, which is ideal for spill response and absorbing machine leaks.

Polypropylene skin with stitched seams resists bursting, reduces dust, and keeps liquid in even when saturated.

Oils, coolants, solvents, and water are absorbed and retained by this product.

Ideal for dripping and damming liquids to prevent the spread of any leak or spill while also making cleanup easier.

To prevent the spill from leaking through the barrier, overlap the absorbent socks by at least 6" when dealing with larger spills that require more than one sock.

Because the sock may be damaged and the filler loose in the machines, it is not suitable for either the washing machine or the dryer. Air drying is the only option.

Socks should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time, as this will degrade them.

Each sock can absorb up to 95 ounces of liquid, while each box can hold up to 30 gallons.

If you need a smaller size, cut one end to the desired length and re-close with a plastic zip tie of your own.

While these can be stacked, they aren't the best choice for holding large amounts of water. Is it possible to use these in seawater?

The New Pig Blue Absorbent Socks (4048) can be used in both fresh and salt water. They're the heaviest and most durable diking sock we've ever made. Because these socks are not UV resistant, they should not be worn outside or in areas where UV light could harm the absorbents. Socks can be air dried and reused if they only absorb water. 3 times. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Do not place in washer or dryer as this can damage your machines and create a safety hazard.

Is it possible to reuse these for water seepage in the basement for more than three times?

The Blue Absorbent Sock can be used again and again, making it an excellent choice for basement water seepage. The number of times this product can be used depends on how saturated it becomes after each use. You may be able to reuse it more than three times, but each reuse will cause the sock to lose its absorbency and the filler inside to condense. The absorbent filler is half full

We'd previously purchased pigs, but they weren't of the same caliber. They were only half full of absorb ants when wet, and they didn't expand much. Although it absorbed, the tube was only half full. I needed them to catch water under a leaking garage door, but they were half empty, so I had to use twice as many.

It's either that or they're not working. It accomplishes the task at hand. (To be honest, I can't believe I have to write something just to award stars. ) There isn't much to say about this type of product. Either they're broken or they're functional. That's all there is to it.
