TABLE MAT GROUND: A complete kit for installing and grounding anti-static and ESD table mats in accordance with ANSI ESD S2020.

THICK OR THIN MATS: A Universal Snap Kit is included in the kit, which allows you to install a 10mm snap or stud into materials as thin as 0. mats with a thickness of 375" mats with a thickness of 375" mat Comes with a low-profile Common Point Ground Cord that snaps to the mat and provides two banana jack receptacles to ground two station operators.

EASY INSTALLATION: A Philips head screw driver is used to install the snap kit into the mat. The ground cord is connected to that snap, and the other end is connected to an outlet's center screw.

ESD STANDARDS ARE COMPLIED WITH: A buried 1 mega ohm resistor is included for added safety. Each mat or every 10 feet of ESD matting must have one ground point, according to ESD standards. ANSI ESD-S20 specifications are met or exceeded. ANSI/ESD S-6, as well as ISO 20.

I'm not sure how to put this together. Is it just me, or does everything seem to fall into place? Although it appears to be simple, the parts I have do not seem to fit together well. ?

You'll choose a screw size based on the mat's width (smaller mats can use a smaller screw), then screw it into the socket, through the mat, and into the conical nut beneath it. To accommodate the screw, you'll need to drill a small hole in the mat.

Is there any built-in obstructive functionality?

Greetings, Jason! A 1M resistor is included in the Ground Cord in this kit. The cord's resistance will be 1 megohm if you measure it. This is for safety reasons, as any charges flowing through the cord should be kept as low as possible. This meets the requirements of the ESDA. If you have any further concerns, please contact me.

Installing it was a breeze. However, it is thick and slack. This kit was simple to put together and operate. However, because my mat is a little thin, I had to add an extra washer to the stack. The button is a little high, which is a problem when I'm trying to store my mat. However, this isn't a major problem. The button kit does not screw down tightly enough on the mat, so I deducted a star for that. I haven't tested the setup for ESD yet, so we'll see what happens.

It's convenient to be able to install a snap on any anti-theft device. There isn't a static mat because there isn't one. If you're an anti-government activist, Simply snap the grounding wire to your anti-static mat, which is already snapped. Connect the ground wire and wrist strap to your static mat.

When I replaced ESD sensitive components, I built myself an ESD work station to keep static electricity from damaging them. Because the mat is shipped rolled up, it takes some time to flatten.
