There was very little else in the kit other than band aids. Cuts can be treated, but not burns, splinters, or other types of injuries.
For my workplace, I purchased two large wall-mounted kits as well as this smaller kit. This isn't suitable for use at home or at work; I gave it three stars primarily because of the case, which can be opened from both sides and contains numerous compartments. And there are some useful items in there, and I can't really criticize them because the Amazon page lists everything that is included. Even so, the case was appealing to me. br>br>I was disappointed that there were no pain relievers or other medications in the first aid kit. If it's for use at home and at work, it should include antihistamines for allergic reactions, as well as pain relievers and possibly Imodium in case of an emergency. There is no medication in this kit for one person. Second, they have an all-purpose pain relief cream that, according to the fine print, is intended to relieve minor pain and itching caused by scrapes, burns, and insect bites. Why didn't they just make it an all-purpose antiseptic/antibiotic cream with pain relief like Neosporin? br>br>While I believe this was poorly planned, I purchased it because of its portability and the attractive case. I have the ability to make changes on my own, but this implies that the value is low. I'm fine because I have two other large first-aid kits, but I wouldn't recommend this as your sole first-aid kit.
After a few months of use, I've discovered that this first aid kit is woefully inadequate. br>The case is well-made and well-organized on the inside, but the band aids are all worthless. br>They're the cheapest plastic item the vendor could find. Scotch tape is used as the adhesive. Peeling them open is extremely difficult. If you're bleeding and need to bandage quickly, good luck because you'll bleed all over the place before you get one open. br>If you purchase this kit, it is a good investment, but throw out all of the band aids and replace them with high-quality fabric bandages.
These are HORRIBLE! Purchases should be avoided. The bandage is made of LATEX, which means it will not stretch or adhere to the injury. I'm extremely disappointed. The damn case is the only redeeming feature of these. I'll have to go get some more bandages now. So mad! Who wants to use expired bandages or latex bandaids that don't adhere to their wound?.
We live in a very remote area and are the first responders. I was looking for a souped-up version of a grilled cheese sandwich. assemble a first-aid kit to keep in the car in case of an emergency. I just got it and went through it, but there was no BLOOD CLOTTING POWDER in it. Given the kit's price and size, this appears to be a major oversight. to witness someone's death by a suffocation?.
This first aid kit appealed to me because it appeared to be in good condition in the photos and the inventory appeared to be adequate. When I first used the bandaids, I realized they were WWII surplus because they were poorly made, old, and difficult to open! All of the bandaids appear to be stuck to their packaging. I'd recommend looking for something else to buy.
Because the bandages are small and are wrapped in the same color wrappers, it's difficult to tell what they're for. The wipes come in the same green and white wrappers as the kit. The kit is fine for minor cuts, stings, and scrapes, but not for more serious injuries in the real world. The price point is excessively high for this level of merchandise. There will be no more eye patches, nose bleed items, larger 4x4 gauze, absorbent wrapping bandages, or tweezers to remove splinters. I'm not convinced the plastic box is weatherproof. The light stick is a good addition, as is the space blanket, but more items, such as ace bandages, are required. There was no tourniquet, burn cream, antibiotic ointment, or old bandaids that didn't stick and were difficult to open, especially if you were hurt. There was only one pair of latex gloves and no roll of gauze. One pair, to be exact. Also missing is a plastic tool box containing items I purchased and placed inside, such as cloth bandaids and steri strips to close cuts in the field when stitches are required. Make your own toolbox kit with better bandages, gloves, and, in today's world, masks, as well as a small flashlight and sterile saline vials for irrigating wounds.
The only thing I had to add to this kit, and I mean only one thing, was a couple of cotex for wounds caused by a gunshot or other injury that results in a hole that cannot be stopped bleeding. THESE ARE THE BEST KITCHEN KITCHEN KITCHEN KITC Thank you for your efforts, and please continue to do so.
