Questions & Answers

Is this a needle with a very fine point?

This is a significant improvement. The point of the v is very sharp. It's far superior to using a needle.

Do these take the place of tweezers in the medical field?

Splinter outs are both sterile and incredible. Tweezers aren't as effective as these.

So, in addition to this, you'll need tweezers?

This product hasn't required the use of tweezers.

When I walked, a splinter on the ball of my foot became more embedded. Will this work for a splinter that is embedded, such as this?

It's a difficult question to answer. A small cyst in my foot was dug out with one. I've also used them as a lance. The sharp part is only a few inches long. The sharp part is excellent for digging splinters out of the surface skin. Using a needle appears to be much more painful. Whether or not it works in this specific splinter, I believe you will find these useful, as I have.

It's a great item, but it's a complete rip-off
3/5

Blood Lancets that have been rebranded. Here's how it works. These items are incredible. This is a must-have item for any household. HOWEVER. These have been renamed "BLOOD LANCETS," as I recently discovered. For $7, you can get 200 of the same thing. 95 from Amazon, made by the same Medipoint company. Don't fall for these deceptions.

This is a must-have item for any home! This is a fantastic tool for removing stubborn splinters
5/5

For days, weeks, or even months, I've had splinters embedded in my hands. They wouldn't come out no matter how hard I worked with tweezers or cut the skin with razor blades. They pop out after a few seconds with one of these. The key is to get the pointy end of the splinter in contact with it and then lever it out. br>br>Don't listen to the naysayers who say it's just a repackaged blood lancet. Who cares if it is or not. The $5 or $6 you pay is still a great deal for getting rid of painful splinters that tweezers alone will never be able to remove. If you absolutely must get a lower unit price, feel free to purchase a pack of 100 blood lancets.

Must buy

amazing. Magic without the pain, especially for sensitive skin and young children. These are incredible. They are extremely effective at removing any type of small foreign material from your skin without causing pain. It's so amazing that you can use it on kids to remove splinters from any part of their body (even the bottom of their foot), and you'll have that little pest out before they even realize you've been trying to get it out. It also works well for removing cauctus pokeys when they are hidden. I can't imagine my life without them. I keep one in every vehicle, boat, day pack, first aid kit, garage, kitchen, bathroom, and pretty much everywhere else. I'm not sure if I could get a splitter out with an needle and tweezers any longer. THEY ARE MAGIC, EVEN WITH THE LITTLE ONES.

It can be used to shave your skin
4/5

This isn't a magical splinter remover; instead, it's a tiny, razor-sharp triangular "blade" that you use to cut open your skin. It's more effective than a pin and has already been sterilized. However, you must squeeze the splinter out or dig a small hole with a good tweezer. Most of the time, I simply open up the skin with a sharp, pointed tweezer before grabbing the offending splinter. I suppose "splinter remover" is a better description than "very sharp blade to cut your skin. ".

It was extremely beneficial

We have a 6-foot-long wooden deck and a 6-foot-long wooden ladder. year- You know what those add up to—splinters if you're old enough. I'm glad I came across them. They're sharp, but not as sharp as a blade or a needle, so I'm more comfortable using them on my wiggly child than I am with those items. I've applied them to both myself and my husband. I'm grateful we have these every time one of us gets a splinter. I also use them to treat milia on my cheeks and chin, and they work well without causing any damage to the surrounding skin. Despite the fact that they aren't needle-free, These are sharp and easy to control. I'm so happy I came across them!.

Excellent product! After three days of attempting to escape two extremely difficult-to-get-out-of situations, This little lifesaver came in handy when I needed to reach splinters in my feet in a hurry
5/5

Almost no discomfort. Tweezers and needles are so much better. My splinters were at difficult angles, so I was astounded at how quickly and painlessly this worked. If you're wondering what this is, it's a small plastic box with several individually wrapped, very small arrow-shaped items inside. "Tools" made of metal in various shapes. " Even the small "handle" part has grips to prevent slipping. I'll make sure to have these on hand at all times.

Perfect for splinters with a lot of depth
5/5

These products are a blessing in disguise. br>br>Last week, while working in the yard, a thorn speared one of my fingers, and the tip broke off deep beneath the skin. Everything I could think of was done to get it out. I tried everything I could think of: needlepoint tweezers, baking soda paste, and so on, but it was stuck so deep in there that I couldn't get it out. br>br>Then, while browsing Amazon, I came across these and decided they were worth a try, given the positive reviews. Because the thorn was embedded right on the tip of my finger, I was growing tired of not being able to type normally. These splinter removers arrived shortly after, and I prepared myself to finally get that thing out. I finally nudge it out of the tiny little wound, where my tweezers could grab a hold and pull it out, after a few minutes. It was completely painless, much to my delight! (However, if you're a squeamish person or if the affected area is sore or sensitive, I'd recommend getting a topical anesthetic like lidocaine, which you can also find on Amazon. ) These methods are proven to work. I would strongly advise them; Put some in your first-aid kits, purses, wallets, and glove boxes. If you think you'll need something small to get rid of those pesky millimeter-sized blemishes on your skin, this is the place to go. Invaders who are long.
