I'm giving it two stars because the other two tests went well (and they were completed very quickly!). The digital, on the other hand, was ineffective. At the time of this photo, my beta hcg level was 4158 (see below for a comparison stick). I almost died when I saw the word "no" after my pregnancy had already been confirmed. I'm not sure I'd put my trust in digital.
However, I was in such a hurry to get the results I needed that three different tests in one box was too tempting to pass up. THE BENEFITS: br>br>THE BENEFITS: br>br>THE BENEFITS br>THE EARLY RESULTS AND RAPID RESPONSE TEST WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. There are no strange pseudo-names. There are no lines, no ambiguity, and only clear, accurate results. The Rapid Response test took less than a minute to complete, and the Early Result test claimed to take three minutes, but I had a clear result before the timer ran out (be careful with the Early Result test — the back and front look similar). Make sure your test is facing up (especially if you're like me and have poor lighting or vision!). ) I became irritated because the lines weren't showing up, only to discover that I had placed the test upside down and that my result had been waiting for me the entire time!br>br>THE BAD: br>After placing my order, I discovered that the Digital Test was prone to false positives, according to reviews on other websites. This was extremely discouraging to read because I did my research before purchasing and First Response was the most highly recommended brand, which I found surprising given the high number of false positives reported. After learning this, I tried the digital test, expecting it to be positive by default, but it didn't work at all. I even double-checked the expiration dates because I was worried I'd purchased a faulty box. After 30 seconds, there was no clock icon, no result, and nothing but a blank screen, as stated in the paper. It was nice not to have to deal with a false positive, but a good result would have been even better. THE VERDICT: br>br> br>I'm giving it four out of five stars because two of the three tests performed far better than I expected. Use those tests if you need quick and accurate results. I also appreciated how clear and simple the instructions were, and how the box told you when to take each test for the best results. Although the Digital Test fell short of my expectations, I would still recommend this testing kit because it is a great value for three different tests (hopefully the digital one will work for you!).
(I purchased these because it didn't feel real to me that I was pregnant. ) ) As soon as I got them, I took all three and they all came back negative, which made my heart sink. I mistook myself for a pregnant woman. I had previously taken four tests that had all come back positive, so I strongly advise against purchasing these.
So I've used these before, and I've always been negative, and they've always been correct, with no false positives. I figured it was time to start taking them again because my period had been late for 20 days. YES FROM ALL THREE OF THEM! even in the digital realm This was the first one I took, and some of the reviews had me skeptical. However, I took the other tests, and the two lines appeared quickly and darkly (probably due to the fact that I'm further along now and have more hcg), and the first response was always accurate. I went to the doctor and heard a 6 week old bean's heartbeat. I'm overjoyed, and I want to send love and light to everyone who is trying to conceive. Never stop trying! I've been having sex with my boyfriend for over a year and have never had a miscarriage, but now I'm pregnant!.
It's the most sensitive test I've ever done, and I've done a lot of them. I strongly advised purchasing multiple strips on a daily basis as a reassurance that you are pregnant.
The early pregnancy dectector stick is a device that is used to detect the presence of a pregnancy in its early stages. It works, but it's a tad sluggish. When compared to the cheap tests I also purchased from Amazon, which have a blazing line, this is still a barely noticeable light pink. This was causing me a lot of anxiety because I was worried that something was wrong because it wasn't getting any darker here, but it was getting very dark on my cheap tests.
2. The promptness of the response This one produces a darker line sooner than the early detection method. I'm not sure why, but that perplexes me.
3. The electronic - This will not give you a "yes" until the day before your missed period, when all of the other tests in this box are positive, which is strange and anxiety-inducing.
4. WHAT GETS ME ARE THE FINE LINES, WHILE THE CHEAP LINES GAVE ME DARK LINES EARLIER. These are extremely expensive, but they do not perform as well. br>What's my take on it? Use Amazon's cheapie strips until you get a SUPER DARK line, then purchase this if you want to double-check, but be aware that the line will be very faint and the digital may be off. br>br>Pictured: br>br> A FRER was compared to the darkest strip, which was taken the same morning and with the same urine.
The digital test simply displayed a question mark, and the instructions stated that the test should be repeated with a new first response test.
