I did nothing but look. There are gauze pads that can be used instead of bandaids, and there are two types of bandaids. The one on the left says fabric bandage, while the one on the right says adhesive bandage. Because it doesn't say latex-free, I'm going to assume that the adhesive one contains latex. I looked through the instruction booklet but couldn't find anything useful. If you're looking for a latex-free kit, I don't think this is it. I hope you found this information useful.
The military has conducted several studies on this, and the majority of medications are extremely stable and retain their full potency for at least five years. After 30 years, their "expiration" date has passed. br>They also don't stop working or become toxic on their own. They lose potency over time, so an "expired" ibuprofen 200mg tablet might only be as effective as a 190mg tablet. These studies were also conducted with medications stored in live warehouses, which were typically typical military warehouses constructed on the cheap, with temperatures ranging from over 130 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer to below 0 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. The blue bag is the 299-piece kit, and it's what I got when I ordered it. The other kits are also made by the same company, but they come in different sizes.

This has a lot of the same items as the previous one. The majority of the items in my kit were alcohol wipes and bandaids. It's also in a shambles. In an emergency, you should be able to locate items quickly and easily. The following items are suggested by the American Red Cross for a family of four:
- 2 x 5 x 9 inch absorbent compress dressingsbr>- 25 adhesive bandages in a variety of sizesbr>- 1 inch x 10 yard adhesive cloth tapebr>- 5 packets of antibiotic ointment (approximately 1 gram)br>- 5 packets of antiseptic wipesbr>- 2 aspirin packets (each 81 mg) - a single blanket (space blanket)br>- 1 pocket mask/breathing barrier (included in the kit) -br>-br>-br>-br>-br>-b 1 cold compress, applied immediatelybr>- 2 pairs of non-slip shoes gloves made of latex (large size)br> 2 packets of hydrocortisone ointment (each weighing about 1 gram)br>- a pair of scissorbr>- 1 (3-inch wide) roller bandagebr>- 1 (4-inch wide) roller bandagebr>- 5 (3 x 3 inch) sterile gauze padsbr>- 5 sterile gauze pads (each measuring 4 x 4 inches)br>- Digital oral thermometerbr>- a pair of triangular bandagesbr>- a pair of tweezersbr>- (Read it before you need it!) First-aid instruction booklet )br>br>My Own Suggestions (to be included in the kit):
- gloves that are sterile!
- There are a few 6" long pre-existing pre-existing pre-exist To relieve pain and swelling, cut strips of standard kinesiology tape.
- Benadryl is an antihistamine. If you need it, injectable epinephrine and/or an asthma inhaler. br>- Imodium is a diarrhoea medicine. br> Anti- Dramamine is an anti-nausea medication. br>- br>In case of an emergency, dial 911. br> Medications and allergies currently being takenbr>- Hemostatic (blood-clotting) syndrome is a condition in which the body' gauzebr>- (stopping) gauzebr>- (stopping) gauzebr> a liquid bandagebr>- a liquid bandage is a type of bandage that is applied to the skin a sunburn relief gel or a sunburn relief spraybr> Eye drops/washes that lubricate the eyesbr>- tips
- Consult your doctor first to ensure that you have medical documentation in case you are drug tested at work. If it's legal in your state, you can use medical marijuana (CBD). Because CBD is not psychoactive, it is legal in some states where THC is not. An Indica strain with 25% CBD can do a lot for pain without leaving you dependent on pain killers. It should be fine with matches and a tubule for joint protection.
in terms of the various items contained within. Although the number 299 is misleading, there are 196 Band-Aids in total, 50 of which are the tiny "Junior" Band-Aids. If you have small children, I suppose those Junior Band-Aids will be useful. Not to be used as Band-Aids, but to provide them with something that will make them feel better. A small badge of honor, a trophy to show that they've been wounded, even if it's only superficial. br>br>Also, the ibuprofen, aspirin, and Tylenol that are listed as six each are actually three packages of two each. It's also worth noting that some of the medication is set to expire in a little over a year. That doesn't bother me too much, because, contrary to popular belief, over-the-counter medicine does not become dangerous as it ages; it simply loses potency. br>br>My only wish for this kit is that it contained fewer Band-Aids and was better stocked with the other items. One trauma pad, one 4x4 sterile gauze, one gauze roll, one burn gel, one pair of gloves, and so on are all that are included in the kit. I mean, if I'm really in need of a 4x4 gauze, I'm not going to be able to get by with just one. I suppose I could just cover it with 20 Band-Aids and hope for the best. br>br>I suppose I got my money's worth for the price I paid (less than $12), given that it was on sale. It's a great place to start if you want to make a kit. It will need to be fortified in order to be a good kit.
Who in their right mind would consider a sealed package containing two pills or a sealed, sterile package containing two gauze pads to be two items? Even if only one pill or sterile pad is used after one of the packages is opened, the other becomes unusable. There is no doubt in my mind that the DESCRIPTION OF THIS FIRST AID KIT IS FALSE!.
Check your case when you get it to see if you got everything listed; they must be hoping no one will check to see if everything they list is in it. What a letdown! Where there are open spots in the photos, those are items that I did not receive, and there were quite a few. I didn't take all of the pills. There isn't a thermometer in the room, and so on.
In my car, something in the kit exploded, resulting in a white ooze all over the kit. I had to get rid of it.
I got this idea that I was saving money and getting a lot of product, but so far, ten of the bandaids haven't stuck to them at all, and six of the others haven't stayed on for very long.
I bought two of these for each car, and while they are adequate for minor incidents such as car accidents, outdoor excursions, and sports, I would suggest that you supplement this kit with more gauze (it only comes with one small pack) and something like a quick clot sponge for more serious situations such as car accidents, outdoor excursions, and sports. It has all the band aids you'll ever need as well as many basics, and it's a good kit for the price; however, in both kits I received, some of the larger bandages and pads were missing, and there were only 2 or 3 when there should have been 6 according to the packaging's list. This occurred on four occasions. I believe they are just not putting them in because they were missing the same amount on both kits ordered about 2 weeks apart. To summarize, good kit for the price, can't build it for the cost, and somethings is always better than nothing, but serious injury could use a little more stuff.
A good first-aid kit for everyone. The only drawback is that it does not include the full-featured version of the game. A pair of metal scissors is shown. Instead, it comes with a pair of flimsy plastic-handled scissors. Because of that lapse in judgment, I'd like to apologize. I only gave it three stars because of the advertised accuracy.
