It's a nice kit, but it might be trying a little too hard to be all things to all people. It's more of a boo boo kit than a trauma kit, but it does come with a cheap tourniquet, a mylar survival blanket, and a CPR mask. I believe that those items are outside the scope of this kit and should be left out, or, better yet, specific products should be purchased separately if you are preparing for a possible trauma. CPR masks are nice to have, but rescue breaths are no longer recommended, and I don't need them. br>br>I believe that an antibiotic cream (along with alcohol and antibiotic wipes) should be standard. I supplemented with some of the cream, extra gauze, large bandages, liquid bandages, benadryl, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, imodium, and other medications, but I don't believe this is due to the kit's fault. As a starter, I wanted to find a basic kit that I could customize from there. This is a good kit for that purpose, and it's still compact, so it's easy to just buy it as is and keep it in your car.
I was looking for a small first aid kit to keep in my day hiking backpack, and the low price and small size of this item drew me in. After reading the positive reviews for this kit, I decided to give it a try. When it arrived, I opened it up to see what was actually inside. I've been a first responder for 28 years and have used tourniquets, CPR masks, and all of the other first-aid supplies in this kit on numerous occasions. I had my doubts about what was supposed to be included in this kit, but I was willing to take a chance because I was going to use it as a "boo boo" kit. Where necessary, I would supplement it with my own professional equipment. This kit was designed and manufactured entirely in China. The majority of the items are low-cost "Band Aids" and towelettes of poor quality. When I tried cutting a paper napkin with the included scissors, they struggled. The tourniquet, if you can call it that, is a cheap piece of rubber that's better for tying off your arm while you're looking for a vein. Aside from that, the CPR mask is a joke. These items take up valuable space, so I'd just throw them away. It also has a slew of safety pins (for what reason?). ), as well as cotton swabs, which are also a waste of space. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. You'd be better off buying a real box of Band Aids and Neosporin for the same amount of money.
Also included is a simple "what to do" guide. I'm overjoyed to have received it! It's about the size of my hand and contains everything you'd need in an emergency. Everything: an emergency blanket, a CPR mask, a cold compress, a tourniquet, a variety of bandages, cotton swabs, scissors, alcohol and iodine swabs, safety pins, a triangle bandage, a nice size tube of saline, ointment And the best part is that there's a little fold up "what to do" guide that's easy to read in a panicked state. Great product, and I'm glad I chose it out of all the small pocket book sized first aid kits I looked at. Without a doubt, this is the best. This is the first aid kit you'll want to keep in your bag or even your car.
It's all very helpful! Except for the safety pins and tweezers, everything is individually wrapped. love it!.
This is an incredible kit. It was well worth the money when we used it on a recent Disney trip. It's small, but it's packed with useful items. It will easily fit into a small compartment of a book bag or diaper bag. Tweezers were a great addition because we frequently get splinters while on the go, and these are ideal. I've never seen first aid kits with metal ones before; they're far superior to the plastic ones that are usually included. We'll definitely buy more kits to keep at home and in our other vehicles.
I have to say, for the price, this little kit was extremely well-made and packed with a variety of medical necessities. I was also sent an e-mail. mail from a coworker founder, which included a PDF document titled "First Aid: Basic Life Support. " "Primary Care Guide," a 14-page quick guide that explains how to take care of yourself and your family. I'm very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it for broken bones, burns, bee stings, snake bites, poisoning, heart attack, and so on. This firm goes above and beyond to ensure that their customers are satisfied. For your convenience, I've included photos of my kit and the supplies that came with it. Everyone, be careful out there!.
First and foremost, I'd like to point out that this fits perfectly into the front pocket of my new hiking backpack. That piqued my interest. Second, I took everything out to become acquainted with all of the items I had received. This teeny-tiny package is jam-packed with goodies, and I'm blown away. Especially since there was an emergency blanket included. There are real metal scissors and tweezers, as well as a mouth guard for performing mouth to mouth. All of the necessary items, such as bandages, gauze, tape, and so on. It was an excellent purchase that I strongly recommend.
