I've never tried, so I don't know.
If it's a concern, I'd put in a filter, but if the odor isn't too bad, it's not necessary.

My previous one was made of aluminum and snapped right in the middle of the bracket. Because it's made of steel, it won't. The previous one had very limited water flow, whereas this one has a lot of it. This one has filters in the eye was ports that are easy to rinse out, unlike the last one, which had a hidden filter deep within its guts that was never disassembled in order to wash it out.
It's very simple to set up and use. The dust covers keep out all of the sawdust and debris that accumulates in our wood shop. It's been used about a dozen times so far with good results. For ease of use and installation, I would strongly recommend it.
This one works well, and the eye caps open easily, so the inspector is satisfied.
I like the flip open water caps, much better than the older design, and it appears to be a good product.
It was simple to set up and it works perfectly!.
Eyewash station with a single touch.
The price is reasonable, and the product performs as advertised.
