At my job, I used this mask to give CPR to a prisoner. It did everything I expected it to do. I would give it a 10/10.
I like that this kit includes an adult and pediatric mask, as well as gloves and an alcohol wipe; I already have a keychain mask, but a full facemask seems more effective, easier to use, and sanitary. I put the masks together with the one-of-a-kind materials I had on hand. I also added a few more pairs of gloves (there is plenty of room in the bag for a few small extras to be added) and took out the valves and put them back in the bag that way so I wouldn't have to fumble with them if I ever needed to use this mask. The equipment appears to be of high quality. br>br>Here's a tip for the manufacturer: You might want to include CPR instructions in the bag, either printed or written on it, as a reminder.
If you have CPR certification but do not have this kit, you should get it immediately. get it. Two sizes, two one-way valves (a must in today's world), gloves, and wipes are all included. you will have everything you require Shields in their most basic form are plain and simple. Shields are dangerous, and they may endanger your life in order to save their own. When working in fire/rescue, you are confronted with a wide range of situations and people; it is best to stay safe while being prepared. When CPR is required, there is no time to look for the appropriate equipment or make assumptions about a person's medical history; you must be prepared with the appropriate equipment or you will be unable to help them. Having this kit on hand allows you to cater to people of all ages and sizes, as well as ensure your safety when timing is crucial.
Have you ever been in a situation where you needed to perform CPR on someone but couldn't because you couldn't breathe? When performing CPR on a complete stranger, I can't blame anyone for skipping the breathing portion. As a former police officer, I always liked to keep my CPR kit stocked with portable face masks because, as a firefighter and EMT, I enjoy helping others who are in need. I would strongly advise anyone to purchase this item, and if you need to perform CPR but don't have masks, simply perform compressions until help arrives. Many times, simply compressing a person's body will save their life; keep up the good work and stay safe.
I'm a registered nurse who works in the emergency room. Fortunately, I have not yet had to use this mask set, but it appears to be of high quality and has a good seal on the mask. It was also reasonably priced. In my bag, I keep the handy pouch clipped. When I'm out and about and don't have access to hospital supplies like I do at work, I like having a sense of preparedness.
It's a nice and sturdy cpr mask to keep in your car or carry around with you in case of an emergency. I like the case and the fact that it can be attached to something in two different ways, which I'll demonstrate in a photo. The masks themselves are in a bag, which I didn't want to open until I might need them, but they look nice, and there are adult and child sizes available, each with a one-way valve mouthpiece. 2 alcohol pad wipes, gloves, and instructions are included in this package. The gloves aren't great, but they're easy to replace. If you want to add a few more items, there is some extra space in the case. This purchase has made me extremely happy, and I am glad I made the purchase.
Additional safety is provided by a two-way valve.
These masks appear to be of good quality, and they appear to be a winner. After a few of us at work were recently certified in CPR and AED use, I decided to get my own mask to keep in my work backpack. The AED comes with a mask from work, but waiting for it wastes time. I was surprised to discover that the adult mask included in this kit has an oxygen port built in; I'm not sure I'll ever use it, but it's nice to know it's there. The infant mask is a little frightening; it's just a smaller version of the adult mask, but the thought of ever needing it is frightening; I hope I never have to use these masks, but I'm glad I have them.
