It has some great items in it, but I was under the impression that it would be a complete kit with 140 items. Now I guess I'll have to go out and buy some tape on my own.
This was purchased as a gift for my college-aged daughter. I was surprised to find no rubbing alcohol pads or wound cleaning supplies. Although it contains a large number of bandages, the gauze roll is useless unless you purchase bandage tape to go with it.
The kit appears to be more of a Johnson and Johnson sample pack than a true first-aid kit. There isn't any antiseptic or tape to clean the wound, and the gauze isn't taped. br>br>I purchased this after using my wife's first-aid kit to clean my son's scraped knee while we were at the park. What good is a first-aid kit if you can't clean and disinfect a wound before applying a bandage? br>br>Well, it's a case, at the very least. To make it useful, I needed to order a few more things.
This is the second time J has done something like this. I've purchased J first-aid kits. br>Benefits - comes fully assembled, includes a "basic first aid" booklet, assorted wound care wipes, bandaids in common small sizes, including a box of waterproof bandaids, a tube of first aid cream, a tube of antihistamine cream, an instant cold pack, two sets of medical gloves, and rolled gauze. Overall, a good value for money basic first aid kit with plenty of room to add extras if desired. br>br>Cons - If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be. For what it's worth, there aren't many - a VERY SMALL first-aid kit This will come in handy if you get any number of small cuts/scrapes/stings while at home or camping/vacationing. I like having a pair of tweezers, a pair of scissors, a small tube of aloe vera, a small spray bottle of hand sanitizer, a few folded paper towels in a sandwich bag, a small pocket knife, a tube of lip balm, and a 5 foot length of paracord with a Those are simply my personal preferences. I suppose there aren't any disadvantages. Perhaps you have different preferences or requirements. br>br>*An excellent way to save space in your first-aid kit. * Remove any boxes that aren't needed. All of your bandages and gauze can be stored in a quart-size zip-top bag. The tubes are printed with all of the "medical facts" and instructions for use. Once you've scaled down the unnecessary packaging, you'll notice that there's a lot of extra space. br>br>I hope that this information is useful.
The price is extremely reasonable.
Because I am a nurse, my father asked me to look into first-aid kits for him to keep in his Jeep for when he goes off-roading. roaring. The M2 Basics' reviews and the amount of supplies it included impressed me greatly. I decided to buy an extra kit to keep in our family vacation home in case of an emergency, which helped me feel more at ease about getting this for my son in college. After recirculating them, I received an email from the company with a pdf of basic first-aid instructions, which I was overjoyed to receive. After reading it and finding it useful for someone without first-aid training, I thought it would be a good idea to print it out, laminate it, and attach it to a keychain so that anyone in the Jeep or vacation house could use it. My father was ecstatic with the outcome as well as the first-aid supplies. Thank you so much for creating such a fantastic product. br>br>My only regret is that I did not purchase a kit for myself. I would strongly advise anyone to purchase this kit.
It fascinates me! It's very useful. It's fantastic to have it in the car! br>Comes with useful items; additionally, you can store additional items in the case that are useful to you.
This first-aid kit is fantastic. It contains a sufficient number of emergency-related items. The only thing I noticed was that the bandages didn't have cohesive tape because they aren't self-adhesive. I had to buy the tape separately and put two of them in the kit. Aside from that, the items chosen for this kit, such as Benadryl, Neosporin, and a step-by-step first-aid guide booklet, appeal to me. I bought this kit for my car because I travel frequently, especially to see my family who lives outside of town. The small plastic case with a handle makes it easy to carry. This is a first-aid kit that I highly recommend.
