Yes, as long as the handle bars have enough space between the rafter and the ceiling.

I'd say 1 3/8 because it fits snugly on a 2x4. 2. Not crossing the line 2 unless you bend it (in which case the form is lost unless you have exceptionally good tools).

a very powerful hook It'll be used to hang a shower caddy from the over-the-shower-door hook. all of the others were unsuccessful.

It's effective

It does what it should, but it could be 2 inches longer. It will hang from my joists, but it is designed for a 2x4 rather than a 2x6. Nonetheless, I am able to make use of them.
