Questions & Answers

What is the best way to raise or lower the stand? Is there a handle that can raise it and lower it with? Is that okay?

There is no crank that goes It is tightened or loosened against the wedge shaped post that fits into the lower sleeve of the stand. The upper wedge shaped post is a clever design, it is impossible for the rollers to shift downward no matter how much weight you place on top of them. The height can be set pretty much wherever you want it and you need to hold the crank against the wedge at the same time. Overall, the best design I have seen so far, I plan to buy another.

Can you tell me how wide and long it is? Is it possible to use a table saw to cut heavy 1" mdf boards 4'x8' that are four feet long and eight feet wide?

The HRT-A does exist A sheet material such as that in question can be handled by 10. It is a good stand in general, but the fasteners that are included are incorrect
3/5

With this stand, I use my table saw as an outfeed table. There's nothing wrong with this heavy duty device, and it performs as it should. Fasteners supplied in this case were incomplete and incorrect, as is the case with so many things today. It can be seen in the picture that the roller support bracket has a 5/8" square hole. A 1/4" lug is located under the bolt caps of the carriage bolts provided. The bolt spins in the hole when you try to tighten it, so it cannot be tightened. There were no fastener bags containing the quantity 12 or 13. There are 12 lock washers that are used to attach the legs to the posts the list of parts specifies 12 lock washers. It is obvious it was an oversight because 12 lock washers are indicated in the parts list in the manual. The workmanship and quality of this project were lax. Not worth the trouble of returning the entire unit for these shortcomings, though I will beware the next time I see an HTC item on the market.

I have used them for 3 years and want to update
4/5

In addition to purchasing two, I also purchased one of the following I/O - For my wood shop, I would like to buy feed tables. It is a good product, but it is hard to put together. I couldn't level one of them simply because I couldn't raise the feet. In spite of this, I use them frequently. *> You must You must You must You must You must You must You must You must You must You must I have had 2 of these stands for more than three years now, and here is my updated review.

I have had 2 of these stands for more than three years, and here is my updated review. There are both pros and cons to using the raising / lowering method. The mechanism is operated by means of a rectangular wedge-shaped metal post (attached to the top of the stand) which fits inside a square post situated inside the stand. The pros include The locking handle results in the top post being unable to move any further after you tighten it. The top post "wedges" itself in the position. Also, it makes for a stand that holds substantial weight very well. Although noisy, lowering the stand is as simple as loosening the crank handle, which is easy to do with one hand. There are a number of cons, including There are times when the top post becomes so tightly wedged in place that it is very difficult to loosen it (and the locking handle can be extremely difficult to turn due to so much pressure from the wedge pushing against it). Additionally, if you sometimes grab your stand by the top part (or by the wedge post attached to it), you will loosen it from the base and might end up not being able to hold the bottom half of the stand. Another problem I encounter is that fine adjustments can sometimes be difficult. To do this, I have to use my hands as well as my shoulders With the right hand, I hold the wedge steady in the post while the left hand tightens the crank handle while I support the top (a fairly heavy five roller ) with my right In addition, I have found that my efforts to tune the height are thwarted by these factors. Although I have said all this, I still stand by my This is an 4 star review.

This is a solid and well-made product
5/5

Everything seems to be going well so far. A well made product. An attachment to the frame attaches a nut to the height crank, which is the weakest link. A nut is welded to the frame to attach the height crank. Instead of only welding the top and bottom, I would have liked to see a weld on all facets of the nut. It is easy to adjust the height of the post with its tapered design. Rolling on the rollers is smooth and level. It is a sturdy unit all in all. I am expecting this stand to last much longer than my previous one that was much flimsier and not as sturdy. I'm glad it is much more solid and well-made.

Compared to single point rollers, these are much better
5/5

(With limited success) I have used a single point roller, (one roller, attached to the stand below) with some frustration. I always had a problem with my one roller configuration, which would get out of alignment even after carefully tightening A roller stand like this is exceptional. As I send wood through my drum sander, it stays in alignment and handles heavy loads. I highly recommend this book.

The way we described it
5/5

Today, I put together one of these that I just got yesterday. The quality of the product is excellent, and I intend to use them for my band saw material handling a lot. We will see if they do well.

It's a good fit
5/5

Supports of any type, whether they are multiple or single rollers, can steer lumber off at an angle, unless the rollers are exactly 90 degrees to the machine from which you are pulling the lumber. This can cause the board to pinch between the fence and blade It's a quality product and works well, aside from this common issue with rollers. It's particularly pleasing to have a tapered support with the ability to adjust the height with a.

HTC Roller Table very pleased with it
5/5

My previous experience with HTC involved purchasing a mobile base, which I believed to be of good quality, compared to rival imports, so I decided to buy a pair of roller stands from them. When they arrived from Amazon, the roller stands were of the same high quality as the shelves I bought there. It was a pleasure working on the assembly the welds are perfect, and the assembly hardware was extraordinary. It looks top notch, and there is a high level of quality in the finish. Stands are very substantial, having four adjustable feet (an important factor to consider if you do not have perfectly level floors), which helps fine-tune the other tools in conjunction with the stands that can be used. Despite spending more money than I needed to on previous lights, I'm very happy with this purchase and wish I had saved it instead. Poorly constructed stands that are too heavy and wobbly. Its only downside is that it doesn't have a touchscreen The main disadvantage of the 10 stands is that they are relatively more expensive However, I believe you are getting quality for what you pay for, as you are getting a tool that will serve you well for many years to come.
