Questions & Answers

What is the lifting speed (inches per minute) and what air pressure are you using?

I am not sure how many inches per minute it lifts (air equipment is rated at 90 psi), but I can tell you that it lifts faster and is far easier than jacking by hand; I am a very satisfied customer, and we use it in a shop setting on heavy trucks.

Is this a product from the United States of America?

No . It's either China or Tawian, I believe. However, it easily lifts my ten-ton Caterpillar loader. It appears to be of high quality. Definitely not garbage.

Is it possible to use this jack with a Viair 400 series portable pump/compressor (rated at 120-volts)? 150psi)?

It certainly ought to. I'm running it at 140 psi and it's working great.

I know the jack is 15 feet tall, but how tall is he? 7 x 8. 1 x 12. Which one, however, is the tallest?

The height is seven.

This is a fantastic tool for the average mechanic or operator

This Jack is one of my favorites, and he puts up with a lot of abuse during the summer. I used hydraulic bottle jacks a lot when I was doing custom agricultural work. When every second counts on the job and you're already tired, the air side will save you minutes. It comes with a protective case, which I use to keep it safe from damage. You don't have to be under the equipment to use the attachment because it's about three feet long.

Jet branded a good product that did the job I needed it to do

When using my small compressor, it took a lot of air and was very slow. When connected to a larger compressor, however, it worked more quickly. I was looking at reviews for less expensive jacks, but I decided to take a chance on what Jet branded. So far, everything has gone well. This was one of the jacks that we used to raise a 28 x 80 building. I couldn't be bothered to manually pump a jack.
