JET HP-15A, 15-Ton Hydraulic Shop Press (331416)

Item arrived in perfect condition from Taiwan (per the packing list). The crate job protected all of the items by covering them in plastic. The item was delivered via lift gate on a truck. It's a good thing, too, because the item was over 400 pounds. The press is extremely heavy-duty. The item will be delivered fully constructed. All you have to do now is attach the bottom support rails to the press, or bolt it to the floor if you prefer. I have a few Jet items and plan to purchase more.

The press arrived in excellent condition and was delivered directly to my garage. The only thing left to do is put the feet together; the rest is already done. The bed winch allows you to easily raise and lower your bed. A crank can be used to move the cylinder left and right, and the same handle can be used to control the bed winch. One difference is that the picture in the description shows it painted red, whereas mine is white; otherwise, it's the same press. Overall, the quality is excellent, far superior to that of some of the other options I considered. A pair of press plates is also included. Overall, I'm pleased with this press, and I've purchased other Jet products in the past (three band saws, a drill press, and a belt sander), and I'll continue to do so as needed.

The platform can be raised and lowered quickly and easily, and the head can be moved from side to side. Swag Off Road provided me with some solid steel press plates and a finger brake that work perfectly with this press. I raised mine slightly to a more comfortable working height by mounting it on top of some nicely cut and stained 4x4s. I'm a master automotive technician who also restores antique John Deere tractors and does some fabrication work as a hobby, and I'm still surprised at how often I use it. I would strongly suggest it.

Not only do I adore this press, but two other shops in my area saw it and knew they had to have it as well; the price is unbeatable, especially when you consider the free shipping! I waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to make sure this purchase was not a mistake, and it was not. I highly recommend this Press! br> Now that I've had this press for a few years, I can honestly say that I have no idea what I did before it! The only issue I've had with it is that I was a little too heavy handed with the actual pressure and slightly bent the frame, but that just goes to show you that the pump and ram held up to the maximum I could throw at it, and all that happened was that the cross over plates bent a little, so I just took them off, put them on some Jack stands, and used the press to straighten them up and have had no issues with seals-- I've used a lot of them over the years, whether it's for leaks or anything else! Fantastic coverage!.
