There are no measurements on the swivel hangers, did you know that? size of the hand is that of a SMALL man's. The size of the hanger is less than 2 inches. 1/2" is the size of the opening. (There is no way I can fit my plastic plant hangers into such a narrow space. I was able to use the code after making a few changes. To the swivel hanger I added a 1" key ring.
