Klein Tools 2012 Swivel Snap Hook

It is the exact same snap hook that came with my Klein 5171-B and is a top quality bronze snap hook with a large diameter. One of the buckets belonging to a PS lineman. A lot of different uses can be found for it. My small snap hook on the back of my climbing belt will handle this device and I'll run the hand line through it to lower tools or a bucket to the ground below. I use this snap hook because it has swivels and is large enough to clip over messenger strand easily. Also, I open it with my gloves on, which saves me from having to remove gloves and manipulate I typically use it with 1/2" and 3/8" ropes, but it can handle up to 3/4 inch This product is still made in Italy, which is a pleasant surprise in these times of global competition. The design is generally very good. After considering the price, I think it is also reasonable.

To replace a broken swivel hook on my messenger bag, I purchased two of these hooks. The length of each is 5 inches Aside from being very heavy, they are also very large. This makes sense since these were primarily intended to hold buckets, and I didn't even know they held buckets. There is no question that they can withstand quite a bit of weight and are still holding up You might be interested in this hook if you want a swivel hook that is small and light for fashion purpose, but it is not the best hook for you.
