I got these as well as an accompanying set that had wires and these together, and I found the products to be superior to those in the accompanying This wire is easy to crimp, but it is extremely Having used this product, I highly recommend it. I would appreciate it if you would mark this review as I'm so glad you liked it!.
The description of the ferrules is accurate only in that they are made of aluminum. You will not find what you are looking for since they are not sized for 1/8 cable. Please be aware that a number of products listed on this site are undersized cables. You should not buy these unless you are using them for 1/16 cables.
There have been several thefts in the area recently. Earlier today, I completed another project where I installed extra heavy duty anti-theft devices Some of the hardware on my ground-mounted solar panels has been stolen. It was important to me not to have my panels stolen while I'm away from home, even though I've spent considerable money on them. For the 1/4" 6,000 lb. , I used 1/4" steel. With these 1/4" HIGOOD Wire Rope Sleeves, I was able to crimp loops in stainless steel aircraft cable to install a center lock. In order to make perfect crimps, I used a hydraulic crimping tool rated at 16 tons. Although I lack one, I imagine a standard compression tool would work just as well with these. It will be impossible to pull apart the loops I made. Anyone interested in these panels needs to have some specialized tools not available to the average person.
The product delivers what it says. The same quantity can be bought at the local hardware store for less.
Light fixtures can be easily hung with this bracket, and it is easy to obtain.
I'm very pleased with the results. The runs I use for my dogs are made of these.
The work is very sturdy and the result is perfect.
Once they are properly crimped, aluminum crimps are very strong and secure. There is a bit too much force applied to the crimping tool It is sized for the application, but does the job well.
