The Ferrell will not work if you don't crimp it hard enough. As far as I know, the cable doesn't have a high tensile strength. As far as my lawn mower business is concerned, cable is fine
All aluminum is made of. As a result, I would not call it
Cables with a 1/16" SS wire diameter have a 368 lb. weight rating. In order to use it as an end stop, I loop the wire back through the ferrule and crimp it with a proper

Neither the cable nor the crimping tool is too large for them. As you can see in the first image, there is no fracturing at the end of the joint. Likewise, in the second photo you can see there do not appear to be any fractures anywhere near the crimp's margins. The texture is not polished, but for the most part, the difference between the two photos is negligible. Both photos are taken at the same magnification and you are looking at 1/16 inch, hot-pressed items. The wire rope measures 7X7 and is galvanized. I have not performed any strength testing because I am using a very casual application.
Despite even the biggest chain hardware stores being hard to find, these ferrules are hard to find. There are very few of them available, so you'll have to pay a pretty penny for them. Aootech US Store via Amazon had theses which I was glad to find. They are probably the company that I have purchased over 1,000 items from and will continue to do so. For my business, I use them to hang the cable hangers on the back of the hand painted These are pretty heavy, so I need to be sure the hanger will be able to hold them.
With these, any kind of cabling can be done easily. Makeshift anvils can be used to hammer them flat. There are many sizes to choose from. These were purchased for bird netting and for securing the bait stations for rats.
Together with some braided stainless steel wire, these were used to attach string lights to both the house and the garage. As per the instruction, I used three in a loop.
I found the cable ferrules to be a lot better than the crap used by Cannon on the down rigger universal release, which was prone to falling apart after a few It's now time to get ready for the next time something.
I purchased these crimps for use in a gymnasium to attach steel cable safety lines to 20# LED light fixtures. The Amazon order I placed was delivered the next day. To secure the heavy fixtures, a loop was made on each end, as well as a pendant mounting system. There were no mistakes in the crimping.
In my case, I used this for running a guild line for lights and it worked just fine. With the plastic insulation, this cable is weatherproof and will not rust.
The cable ferrules work well to hold the wire rope that makes up my art work and I wanted a more professional way to do it. I was pleasantly surprised by the fair price and the speed of delivery. Please accept my sincere thanks!.
