Unlike the somewhat cheaper, slightly smaller and less sleek snap box included with my hammock, these came in a sleek plastic snap box and were brushed metal instead of the super shiny set that shipped with it. In an instant, I replaced those two with 2 of these It also came in handy to have two extras. In my previous hammock, I had a larger one. I thought I had ordered a 12 foot hammock, but my previous hammock was bigger. It has been 18 years or so since I bought it. It had been a long time since Hammock existed. I found a metal stand that had silicone powder coating. I had two extra hooks and a short length of chain leftover from the hammock of yore, so this worked very well for my 12 foot hammock. It was a great purchase, and I couldn't be more pleased. It seemed as though I had accidentally deleted the message My mistake was purchasing four hooks that were not necessary. It was them who came to the rescue!.
