Provides us with access to our gate

I bought these, which are the largest size, for keeping our gate open sometimes. Our back yard has an aluminum fence around it, and sometimes we have to leave it open for a while. By hooking one end of the carabiner over the fence and the other end over the gate, I can keep the gate I simply hang the carabiner on the fence next to the gate so it is readily available when needed to reverse the process and allow the gate to close. Our Florida sun and rain may not damage the materials, and it seems to be sufficiently weather resistant.

It is strong

The strength of this statement is pretty impressive. My trash cans are towed with this and I was desirous of getting a strong plastic since I use it to tow them. When they are full, the cans are heavy and I have to tow them over rough terrain for a long distance. As I am pulling a train of cans I can attach the cans to each other for easy towing.
