The letters "PT" stand for JIS (Japanese) taper pipe, which is interchangeable with BSPT (R and Rc). It could not be used in place of NPT.
I don't think I have. I purchased it to use compressed air at a maximum pressure of 125 pounds per square inch. br>Do you think it'll work in that pressure range?

These connectors are of excellent quality. They have a thick rubber seal inside with what appear to be stainless steel grippers that retract when the release button is pressed. Pipe threads are short and insufficiently tightened to prevent leaks. I could tolerate a small amount of leakage around the threads in my application, so one worked for me. It's a shame that non-standard pipe threads cause so many Chinese parts to fail.
Work is excellent, the grip is strong, and the work is well done. The only issue is that they come with a Teflon coating on the 1/4 inch thread side, but it leaked badly when I added a quick connect and cranked it up. There have been no issues since I added three wraps of Teflon tape. Would visit again. br>br>.
I just wanted to give the seller a shout out. I bought these with no idea what I would use them for. The product is of good quality, and it arrived quickly. I had to return something because I ordered the wrong size, but there were no problems. Great seller.
A OK!.
It's fantastic that these fittings arrived in just two days. They aren't, however, 1/8" tubing. That sentence should be removed from the description. They're too big to be used with 1/8" line.
Just make sure you have some plumbing threading tape on hand, or else it will leak through the threading side; otherwise, it works flawlessly and without leaks.
Installed a coolant system on my machine tools, and it worked flawlessly.
Everything went according to plan.
